NJ is my kind of blunt. My irish bought 90 acres in Plainfied before the Civil War. Fed took it after the wlft to join the Virginia militia. DGAF about slavery but hated the gov from boss for them around.

So I get it. Jersey guy says, 'Fuckin A' ...

    Strike two was a joke.

Strike three was too close to take in that situation.

When I think closer I think more a swing and miss type. 2022 Kershaw isn't that anymore.

He's still valuable as a starter that can consistently go six or seven.

That said, one of the starters is going to have to go to the pen when May and or Buehler comes back.

I don't think that's the case at all. He was never going to maintain his unreal pre All-Star pace.

Looking at today's outing, he was fortunate that the Rox missed some fat pitches. But he was also the victim of a swinging bunt and a seeing eye single in the inning in which the Rox scored their runs.

How about that Hit 'Em Outman? Three crushed hits and three RBI.

Might get Soto straight up for him tonight.

    idk
has looked awfully hittable his last few starts
some fat pitches (as you alluded)
but a lot of missed location in the zone and not as much sharpness to his breaking stuff
today i don’t count as much because it’s coors
and he pitched a lot better after his one bad inning

Gonsolin was getting insanely lucky in the first half, to an unsustainable pace on BABIP. Last start vs Washington, he was on the opposite end, he did the same thing he has all year, but was on the wrong end of some weak contact and a foul ball that was called fair that scored about 3 runs for the Nationals. today he only allowed 3 runs which honestly is about the best you can hope for in that shithole park. The only really not that good start he had was vs the Cardinals

I will always sign up for 3 out of 4 at Coors.

    Good series.

So Kimbrel's box score is going to show a decently pitched ninth today, but fact of the matter is that first two batters scorched the ball. My confidence in him keeps dropping.

Considsring what's been going on since the AS game, Clayton and Catboy should've stayed home.
    Hating it more and more.
Considering snubs and all the puffed up showboating, it's a money grabbing circus.
It will always be a thing though...like the double stamdard, which means no standard at all.

From what I can see whoever is catching him sets up in the middle of the plate for his fastball just hoping he'll throw a strike.

    His command is that bad.

he’ll paint a 97 mph fastball on the corner, then follow it up with a pitch 4-5 feet out of the zone
