    prediction
    zack and kersh exit with leads in the 7th
    the pen can't get the ball to kenley and we lose both
    bolsinger and anderson then pitch like bolsinger and anderson and we get swept
    we then get swept by the padres while the giants take 2-of-3 from colorado, setting up a one game playoff for the division
    dbb, in his infinite wisdom, decides to start frias...
    and we lose 21-1 and miss the postseason

    and yet dbb, the player's manager, keeps his job

    Adrian hopeful for Monday; Greinke on track

    DENVER -- Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said he was "hopeful" Adrian Gonzalez would return to the lineup Monday night in San Francisco.

    Gonzalez, who has been limited by a pinched nerve in his back, missed his third game in four days when he was held out of Sunday's game against Colorado.

    "Adrian was better today," Mattingly said Sunday. "I saw him in the lobby, he sounded encouraged. We're hopeful for tomorrow. We'll see where he's at."

    Mattingly confirmed that Zack Greinke, who skipped his last start with a tight calf, will make his scheduled start Monday. Enrique Hernandez, out with a strained left hamstring since Aug. 31, will rejoin the club for the Giants series.

    Mattingly said Justin Turner was getting a scheduled precautionary day off Sunday to protect his tender left knee. Corey Seager, who has missed two of the last three games with leg fatigue, didn't start Sunday as a precaution as well.​

    Getting swept in Colorado is almost gonna be worth it if we clinch at San Francisco right away after giving their fans the slightest glimmer of hope, and get to watch those fucks be disappointed.
