Good news, 2 shutouts in three games. Bad news, only 8 runs in three games in a minor league bandbox. Just one HR. Credit the Tampa OF for limiting the damage yesterday. A couple of incredible catches.

Yamamoto and Vesia do what they've been doing. Stewart gets through the top of the lineup in the 8th. Left the middle-bottom for Treinen. Didn't go so well. Stuff wasn't terrible, but his command was. He was victimized by a cricket swing for base hit, but he also walked two. Ball four to the last hitter was 90 mph. He looked exhausted. Nice job by Casparius cleaning up the mess against the dangerous Diaz. Who here didn't have visions of a game winning grand slam?

Freddie has officially risen from the dead. Now with Will they have two consistent hitters in the lineup. Now about the other seven slackers?

The Edman injury probably opens the door for an extended stay for Freeland. Edman came to LA with that gimpy ankle. Makes you wonder if an offseason surgery might fix it.

He squared up a couple yesterday after a streak of bad ABs, but my frustration with Pages continues. For some reason he went into second standing up on a second inning SB. Then he proceeds to dance around like a Little Leaguer as he led off second. Doesn't this moron know he's not distracting the pitcher, that he's distracting the hitter at the plate?

Give credit to Mookie for a good AB resulting in the late inning sac fly, but a big WTF for not scoring on Freddie single in the 7th. Infield was in so he could take a huge lead. Instead he took a short lead and was flat footed when the ball went through the right side. He had no chance to score. No excuse for that shit.
