@THEREAL_DV · 58m #Dodgers starters in 3 game series vs #Mets: • 21.2 IP / 2 ER / 29 strikeouts Wrobleski-Yamamoto-Ohtani. even more impressive considering wrobo only had 2 Ks
Looked like the hitters were sleep walking through another game for the first give (Kim HR aside). Then came the avalanche led by Dalton Crushing. Dodgers buried the Mets' replacement for Diaz. Tucker showing a pulse.....finally. Bottom four in the lineup continue to produce (6-15 with 6 RBI). Pitching was lights out again. Sho with 10 Ks in six innings. Nice to see Hurt get an inning. Gave up a run, but the hits were two bloops. Loved the life on his fastball.
I shudder at the thought of Roki at Coors. He's no Nomo (whose pre-humidor no-hitter still is one of history's greatest sports feats, in my mind).
nor is a flat fastball maybe i’m wrong but i seem to recall his fastball having great movement in japan
That Colorado lineup bore no resemblance to what they're fielding today. https://www.baseball-almanac.com/boxscore/09171996.shtml
might have something to do w their first 4 opponents having a combined win percentage of around .375... has to be frustrating to win 8 in a row and find yourselves in the same place as well Buehler's looking good down south
I mean, if you can't live up to your overpaid contract, that's one thing...certainly nothing that rare. But this guy looks like a genuine scrub out there...are you kiddng ? Wow.
watching the replay it did hit pretty high off the wall but still looked like a better effort might have gloved it idk
@FabianArdaya · 26m The Dodgers are calling up outfielder Ryan Ward, sources tell The Athletic. The reigning PCL MVP was added to the 40-man roster over the winter. Through 81 plate appearances with OKC, he’s hitting .324 with a 1.020 OPS and four home runs.
