    Death, taxes, yours truly taking two trips to the pisser every night and Glasnow leaving a game with an injury.

    Pages ends his power outage in style with three bombs. Throws in a highlight reel catch to boot. A year ago this time I couldn't envision him playing the position this well. Apparently he worked his ass off to improve his fielding skills. Good for him.

    Pen cleaned up eight innings with little trouble.

    saw a picture a while back when pages was chubby, probably around the same time we almost traded him to the angels
    not sure who/what motivated him to get fit, but that was apparently the first step

    Yeah man...if that's all you can muster in an AB in MLB game on a world championship team ( or any team really), then there's no way you should be on the roster. The loser look on his face was even worse and exceeded the actual physcal futility of that PA.

    Thanks for posting that. I didn't see it live, but that was an absolutely pathetic AB. He obviously is clueless on how the ABS system works. You have two challenges remaining with one out in the 9th, you don't hesitate to use one after that second pitch. He's not a fit for this team.
