I like Kim and Freeland on the roster, it almost sucks that Kike and Tommy have to come back.
Espinal needs to be DFA'd; never should have made the roster

I agree. Freeland has grown on me as he seems to do the fundamentals well and mostly has quality ABs, even if they don't always end up as hits. Kim is a major-leaguer IMO. Edman is a tough one, because we don't know how much his numbers were affected last year by injury. I'd like 2024 Tommy back. Kike is always an anomaly for me. His numbers during the regular season don't by themselves warrant a roster spot. They're actually really anemic. (0.255 OBP in 2025 was terrible). But his defensive flexibility is a valuable asset. And then, he always seems to come up big in the post.

It's going to be a tough call. Hard to predict how it will all play out. If all four stay healthy, one or two of them may find themselves in another uniform by the trade deadline. For now, let's just get Mookie back and Espinal his walking papers.

Disagree. He earned his way on the roster with a lights out spring. By the same token he's currently playing his way off the roster.

Hot streak when he first came on the scene aside, Edman hasn't been very good at the plate. That and he's never been healthy.

Would rather have either Freeland or Kim than Tommy at this point. Between Kim and Freeland they can cover all the positions Edman can play.

Why is Espinal in there tonight ? Does he give you more than Kim against these Brave bullies ?

Espinal knows he's in way over his head on this team. that play is right in front of him and he comes up w that stupid look on his face an trots back to the dugout. when Mookie comes back he's absolutely gone so WTF is he even in there for??? God damn it Will...going to be hard to overturn that though

not sure why Sheehan or Wrobleski would even come up in the demotion conversation when its obvious Sasaki should either go down or work out of the bp atm

Can't really argue with you on that...he did hit his way on in ST, so he's on the roster because ofhis efforts.
Even though that particulat AB was gobsmackingly atrocious. There'll be a time for redemption...

From some situations I've seen lately, my feeling is FF and Miggy have lost a step laterally.
And FF's bat is just not the same...I don't know if it's slower, or the path to the ball is different, or what. But it looks different to me.

he's changed his stance w his front foot so its definitely different. does seem like a slower path to the ball. lethargic.
at least that's what the stupid people are saying so i've heard!
