Max Muncy is close to an automatic out with runners on base

that was annoying because it is so obvious the Padres are absolute trash.

This wasn't a Dino issue. It was a 0-7 with RISP issue. Main culprits were Will, Muncy and Mookie. Mookie hit it hard but at the SS in the 8th and Muncy gave it a ride to the wrong part of the ballpark in the 7th.

Ebel had the stop sign up before the bobble. Even with the bobble, it was far from a sure thing that Kim would score. Tatis has one of the best arms in the game. Play looks a lot different from the angle Dino had.

King pitched a great game, but the Dodgers missed some hittable pitches in key spots. Yama matched him pitch for pitch, one aside.

Might not get a better shot at getting to Miller. Those suggesting moving the runners along from first and second aren't taking into account trying to bunt against pitcher 100 mph+. That and Will Smith is never asked to bunt.

I won't go as far as to say that Ebel made the wrong call. I was listening, not watching, plus if Kim had been thrown out all the blame would go on Dino. But as Monday mentioned a couple times yesterday, Tatis - while having one of the strongest outfield arms in baseball - also notoriously has one of the least accurate arms. Who knows what would have happened, but with the benefit of hindsight in the final game result, I wish he would've sent Kim.

The Teo DP in that inning REALLY hurt. Wish he just struck out. Pages was on first. Kim followed with a single, as did Ohtani. Probably would have tied the score there.

Ebel seemingly thinks Freeman is the flash and would’ve definitely sent him in that situation

Tatis had his back to home and by the time he picked up the ball, Kim was touching third.

In a 7-6 game where the offense is in a groove, I probably don’t take that risk but on a night where the offense was struggling, I take a chance with our fastest base runner and force Tatis to make a perfect throw.

I also have zero faith in Mookie Betts to drive anyone in

but I agree that the game falls on the offense and not the third base coach. Yoshi deserved much better

Kim scores easily if he isn’t stopped. Ebel likely didn’t even see the bobble as he put up the stop after it happened. But he needs to be farther down the line to give himself more time to actually see the play. He fucked up

Yeah, the offense was as flaccid as the sailors' saltpetered joints on a nuclear submarine under the polar ice cap cruise...but that's Ebel's job, and he fucked up, plain and simple. That's all he's got to do. Look. Everybody and his cousin knows King went through them like a hot knife through butter, but you gotta make the right call at the right moment. All the excuses for Dino sound so woke.
I'd rather take a shot at it in a game like that with Kim's speed than depend on Milky Mookie, who is a charter member of the HR and big fly when the team scores 15 runs club.
    More than one member, too.

You think that little chipmunk would even go out and back up his player ? Wtf did FF go down on ? He certainly didn't swing, and the pitch was 6" outside. ..so wtf was it?? I guess it doesn't matter ?
I can't stand Roberts...he should be finding out wtf went on.
