So true. I keep trying to give him the benefit of the doubt - that he's still getting used to the new team culture and part of it is just his personality... but with every passing game it looks more and more like a big miss by the front office. He doesn't fit on this team. At least Conforto was just one year. Can't believe we're stuck with 3 1/2 more of this crap. And in about a year if not sooner it's going to block prospects that really need to be promoted. Double whammy.

at some point (not yet obviously) they’re probably going to have to eat a chunk of salary just to get rid of him
if he were only struggling at the plate i might have more faith that he’d eventually come around… but his defense is just as bad, if not worse
mind boggling how he fooled so many baseball minds into believing he was worth the $$$

Both were really bad signings, but you can at least explain Schmidt as injured when signed and never able to fully recover (what an incredibly stupid assumption that he'd be fine when they signed him), and Jones was obviously on the downside of his career. Tucker is too young to be regressing like this. These should be his prime years.

the way tucker rolls over to the right side is as infuriating as when andruw used to smile striking out lazily. just using yesterday as an example he should have caught that foul ball although it was a tough play. the bloop single he was just jogging in w zero effort. even Orel commented on the ball being in the air quite a while and clearly Freeland wasn't going to be able to get there. all these things have to be adding up. if there was even the slightest bit of interest from another team they should cut their losses. like making a mistake on a stock pick what are you going to do? follow it to zero?

I'm holding out hope that the offense will show. Often, it seems like they get up for good starting pitchers and get really complacent for not-good pitchers. I'd say the same thing for Davey - Dodgers took five straight against a bad Angels team so he decided to take a nap during Sunday's game.

    If Dalton Rushing gets hurt
Even if Will goes on the IL, I don't think it'd be the worst thing just to rest/recover his body

Our new (preused?) car includes SiriusXM ... so while I loathe the concept, I'm a car radio junkie...

I'll have to listen to the Dodger game tonight so .... I really hope it's the LA booth. I hope I don't have to endure Bob Walk's annoying patter.

A pitcher named Walk. I always wondered if he thought of changing his name Wtf, huh?

Generally you get the home team announcers.

You have two ways to listen.

    1. You can tune the radio to the game feed channel, and like fsu said, it'll usually be the home team's feed (except during the WS - maybe even the NLCS - when you have both teams' plus the national feed to choose from).

    Or what I usually do...

    2. Assuming you have clean cell service wherever you're driving, and assuming that you BT connect your phone to the car, download the Sirius app and you can always listen to the Dodgers feed. When I'm gardening, which is almost every evening this time of year, I have the game playing from the phone's speaker in my pocket. When I'm driving, I usually choose the Dodgers feed through my phone but it's via the car speakers.

By the way, why do you loathe XM?

I'm pretty rural here and spend a fair amount of time in the car, so for me I don't know how I'd survive without it.

    Loathe was poor word choice.

I'm with the late Tom Petty:

And the boys upstairs gonna see
How much we'll pay for what we
    Used to get for free...

My KMET days - much like my Vin Scully days - blessed/cursed me forever. After the Mighty Met died (1987) & Vinny retired (2016) .... I'm ruined forever by both arts' efforts to keep my attention.

Also ... it made Howard Stern into a monster. And I don't pay for what I should be able to hear while my paraquat coughs rack my chest ...

I get that and concur in most aspects of my life.

But my feeling is that you always were paying for radio through the commercials you had to endure. When listening to the music channels on XM, there are no commercials, so in my mind the monthly fee replaces the ads and pays for a more pleasant listening experience.

That doesn't apply to games. You still have commercials between innings.
