thought i'd check out catching a flight out of Burbank and that stadium since i'm not doing much the next couple of nights. going basic basic and looking at the most reasonable seats. doing a decent meal and ubers would cost me around $1400. so much for something different and a cheap date. not sure why i thought the seats would be less and late notice southwest is a ream.

yeah a decent seat looks like $300 and SW is $400...lmk what you see in the AM. i'm sort of flexible but might not be in the cards. could celebrate daveys 1k! i've got your number and i'll see if i can locate a better ticket to fly. just got back from LAX and sort of dread doing that twice in two days...

Game had a Coors feel to it. No lead is secure.

Another 17 hit effort. Eight of nine starters had two hits. Mookie was the only slacker with only one.

Not a pretty line for Lauer, but he got through six innings. Gave up nine hits, but six of them were considered soft contact. He did well to keep his shit together through some bum luck. Did anyone see Lauer's reaction to the Thomas HR (wow). Ball got up in the jet stream and went out. No jet stream needed for any of the Dodger HRs.

sb a great time. when i go solo i often make a point of wandering around to the standing areas and talking to people. not sure how this place is but DS had a bar rail around the field box seats for like a year and it was a party. plus it was in the shade. think the people paying for field quickly shut it down. hopefully they have something like that.
71 w a breeze in LA atm. have to admit watching France and Mbappe miss goal after goal in zero gravity beats the thought a packed southwest flight landing into 90 degree heat!
interestingly i ended up clearing out a small apt. where i'm going to stash my derelict bro in law this morning. nothing on your crisis scale but along those lines!

so last night i missed the first half of the game or so and early on the radio guy sounded like he was calling a HR deep back and then he was kind of silent while the crowd made noise. after a few seconds he came back and said he'd never seen a play like that where a guy went back on a ball and misjudged it by like 50' and it dropped. he was kind of stunned and said it wasn't being called an error. then i think someone got a hit but idk. i was looking through highlights trying to find the play somewhere and couldn't find anything. watching the post game show they didn't show it...anyone know what happened or see that play? tyia
