    had the cold sweats for most of that game and just gave up. came up on me in the morning. don't know what i was fightiing but hope everyone avoids it.

    Hope you're okay, I hate that feeling. I'm really sensitive to caffeine before bed and I had a jack and coke without thinking and now tossing and turning with no chance of sleep.

    Old friend Warren Zevon said it best........ain't that pretty at all. But another series win over the pests from Colorado.

    Roki shit on his early 3-0 lead, but recovered to give them six. Pleasantly surprised he got out of the second and third, no one out in the 4th. Well done. Still hate his body language after giving up the HRs.

    Hitters went limp dick after the three run first. Just just enough soft contact in the 8th from Edman and Freddie to set things up for Mookie drove in the game winner with a shot up the middle.

    Had more good fortune in the top of the 8th. After Muncy air mailed the throw the first, Vesia piped an 0-2 pitch which McCarthy hit for the ground rule double. Ball bounced over the short wall. A few feet to the left and the Rox score there. Vesia came back with two Ks and Enriquez got Karros to fly out to clean that mess up.

    Scott came back from a disastrous Monday outing for a clean 9th.

    Might have to call him Que Feo Teo. Dude looks lost.

    Call took stupid to a new level, burning both of his team's challenges in the first fucking inning. So bad that Pages and Rushing were laughing at him.

    Fell asleep with the Rockies having second and third with 0 outs in the 8th inning.

    Did not expect to see a 3 by their name when I woke up this morning. Great escape by Vesia

    The ultra idiocy was bad enough, but him smiling when he did it like a mental patient just fueled the flames of stupidity for me...astounding show of brainless behaviour.

    Which, imo, illustrates my point that the ABS system ( IN IT'S PRESENT FORM) is not working and just adds another dimension for a player to fuck up with. Just another layer of problems. If a player gets it right, then all is well. But if it's wrong, like badCall last night, it becomes an albatross, not a help. It becomes an advantage for the other team, and " in an effort to make the game better" is a pile of steaming shit. When there are NO challenges, and every pitch is technically displayed, THEN the ABS system will be a successful innovation. That will get it right...every time. Now, it's a red herring.
    And worst of all :
    THE UMPS STILL SUCK and ABS has done nothing to improve the behind the plate balls and strikes calling. You witness it every game you watch.
    NOTHING.

    There should be no instance where a player would use this in the first inning, particularly if you're a marginal roster player. I mean, I guess if there are bases loaded and 2 outs and 2 strikes and you're sure it was a ball, there could be an exception, but I have no idea how Call determined one of those were justifiable in that situation, let alone two. He wasn't right in his mind, that's for sure.

    reading about a bug they're associating w fruits and vegetables idk. eating apples as that's all that sounds good. drank a case of bodyarmor zero w a lot of electrolytes. should be back up for all star break. yeah not a caffeine guy at all but nothing worse than wanting to sleep and having no chance.
