It's so fucking infuriating.
ABS= Another Baseball Shitshow.
It will quickly become another factor in grading catchers, like framing.
How well they use this garbage in a game.

 

If he wins a game (a rarer and rarer occurrence for a while now), he is lionized as a great player, and we are told about his glorious smile.
His, uh...runway will be very, very long before anything like this ever happens. It's a shame and all that, but it is what is definitely is.

Hurt so bad (apologies to Mellencamp). Inability to throw strikes, allowing two hits on 0-2 counts and failing to back up third aside it was a stellar performance. Backed by dismal outings for Klein and Stewart (three hits and three BBs in 1.2 innings).

Offense went flaccid dick mode after the back to back HRs to open the game.

This game went about as well as the last time they cancelled a Shohei start on the mound. The other being the infamous Charlie Barnes game which I had the pleasure of viewing in person.

Will be interesting to see if this Shohei knee situation affects what the team may do at the deadline.

 

Teo is a good guy & he's had huge hits (IN THE PAST) so yeah... he'll be around until he isn't anymore.

Gonna be awhile.

 

i'll hold out hope there's some bountiful runs and clutch rbi's in whatever remains of his tenure

 

think they lost focus after the madre series last game. maybe these aren't must wins or even needed wins for that matter. but good ole coach makes it so clear he's taking his foot off the gas everyone mails it in and it looks like Yoshi did that tonight. unusual for him but ffs can't they just forfeit a series like this? not risk the injuries and wear and tear? i get it the team is 14 up heading into an all star break. what a rip off for the fans and just unprofessional imo. glad i didn't buy a ticket.

 

If you can't pitch, can't fucking hit for sure, and can't field...pretty sure you can't win.
So many zeroes in the lineup now, you have a hard time keeping track.
They came for them, just like they said, and they are running away.This Dback team is no winner, imo, but they way they are making LA look right now is nauseating.
Roberts will definitely wave the white flag in this piece of shit game.

All Star break has apparently started a few days early for our boys.

Yamamoto is human after all. Knack looking like a AAA pitcher.

Game summed up pretty well in the 4th. Only down 1-0, runners on first and second and Freddie, Mookie and Max coming up. Three weak ass ABs later it's still 1-0. Last look they had at the game.

Let's see if they have any pride today. Sheehan going isn't ideal, but scoring him a few runs early might help.

" Underneath the glove of Max Muncy" is getting pretty fucking common these days. Must be me because I like to pick on him. Incredible how many excuses they come up with for him on a routine ball. Waiting to see what tbe official scorer rules is always a hint, I must say.
Or is there a certain speed it has to be under down at Max's tepid corner?
