    Last night's game might have well been Game 8 of the '25 World Series. Great pitching and only five hits, the big one the game deciding Maximus Munces bomb. Needless to say the second guessers are having a field day with the decision to leave Cole in to face Max.

    Some idiot on this board called the pitching matchup Tyson vs. Spinks. Turned out to be Hagler vs Hearns. Both pitchers traded blows until Muncy made Cole flinch. Obviously a big step in the right direction for Roki. He didn't flinch in a big game atmosphere. Overcame the Pages bobble and the Rushing clank.

    Dreyer got out of the 6th inning jam nicely. Vesia tried his best to fuck things up, walked former Pads POS Grisham in front of one of the Yankees' best hitter in Rice. He got bailed on Pages-Mookie-Rushing relay. Pages got rid of it quickly. Mookie fielded the off target throw and made a great throw to get it to the plate where Rushing made a nice stretch and tag to get the runner. Vesia still had to get by Bellinger and he did. Scott cleaned up the 9th despite giving up a bullet at Muncy.

    What a game to miss. And the fucking reason is because I live close to one of the teams. Pure greed scum.
    I'll probably have just as much trouble with the Mets and Phillies, and I don't live close to the Phillies.

    there’s no mlb team in our entire state
    the closest is still over 250 miles away but manfred et al still blocks any game vs them home or away
