    No Sho on Wed in Philly. Apparently the knee is still an issue. He'll DH in Game 1 today. Game 2 TBD.

    people on X can whine all they want about the dodgers letting vargas go, but i’ll take tommy edman over him every time

    i love vargas (homo) but there really wasn’t a place to play him here

    Agreed. I think it was a win-win for both teams.

    NLCS MVP alone made the trade worth it imo

    Edman was outstanding that whole run and contributed to a WS. Vargas wasn’t ready for a role on a title contending team

    Dodgers also landed Kopech in that deal. He was an important bullpen piece down the stretch and in the playoffs in 2024.

    Extremely happy to have Tommy and enthused for Miguel getting his chance to show what he has and going full throttle.
    When he came up it seemed like he was ready to go All Rockstar and then when things didn't work for him he started struggling but he had his chances.
    Would have been a great Dodgers story if he had managed to get it together with the team but it's not the first time bright lights and the big city have caused trouble for a young guy.
    Not only to get it together but to become an All-Star is fantastic for him and his family. Somehow he never seen a fit for the team but he certainly making the most of it now and I wish him all the luck. But in no way do I feel like we got the short of the end of the stick because Edman is a gamer like you don't see come around too often.

    Dave Roberts can be so dumb sometimes. Teoscar has 7 home runs against Ryan Yarbrough and he hits Kyle Tucker and Miguel fucking Rojas ahead of him. You should be hitting him higher to try and get him as many at bats as possible against this fucking bum.

    I finally can watch one of the games of this series...sooo...the Dodgers of course like shit like they did against the Dbacks. After two great victories. Thank you, God.
    Why did we let Yarborough go again? I remember him being pretty damn good for us.
