A package of Bass, Young, Williams and Hibbert would immensely upgrade the bench of any playoff team.
Lakers trade with Wizards and Heat. Lakers get: Nene and Alan Anderson for the rest of the year, as well as Hassan Whiteside to induce to stay, and Drew Gooden as cap fodder. Miami gets: Marcin Gortat a real good two way center who is locked down to a reasonable contract for Wade and Bosh's last contract hurrah. As well as Huertas and Sacre. Washington gets: Roy Hibbert, Brandon Bass, Josh McRoberts, Nick Young, Chris Anderson, and Ryan Kelly. They have a lot of injuries and need depth around young stars. PG: Russell, Williams SG: Clarkson, Anderson SF: Kobe, Brown PF: Randle, Nance C : Whiteside, Nene Team is set up with a good bench for next year. Alan Anderson compliments Lou Williams well in the backcourt as a backup duo. Anthony Brown can be groomed to be given a shot at taking Kobe's spot if we dont sign a big name FA at SF. Nance becomes the 3rd big in the rotation alongside Randle and Whiteside after Whiteside signs longterm. Nene and Whiteside gives us good defense inside and may cause us to win too many games this year if the coach isnt careful. Byron has done a masterful job at sucking us down to a bottom 3 finish for that Simmons sweepstakes. Jim Buss is very smart in picking Byron the fan favorite that sucks in order for the team to suck and have a scapegoat to fire at the end of the season. Brilliant!

The NBA has become unbearable to watch. I watched 5 minutes of the Cavs-Clips game when I got home and it was a free-throw shooting contest between DeAndre Jordan and Tristan Thompson. The rest of the game was people bitching and shooting 3's. I hope the league dies, but no one more than David Stern. Still mad at that asshole for killing the CP3 for NO reason and ruining our franchise for a decade. I guess the game that has become of it is part of the Karma back to him.

To the point of wanting the Lakers to go away 4ever? Let's hope they fix the game or that the Lakers perfect a style that takes advantage of it before we hope it dies altogether. Sports would be pretty fucked up without the Lakers. That's pretty damn extreme.
