The patch, which LeBron will wear for the remainder of the season, features a silhouette of his pregame chalk toss and three colored stripes representing the franchises he's played for in Cleveland, Miami, and L.A.

He sat for a one-hour TV show to announce "The Decision." (who does that?!?)

He let the drama build and then finally announced, "I'm taking my talents to South Beach."

At that point he exceeded all levels of narcissism previously exhibited by professional athletes, and that includes Barroid Bonds taking interview questions from his burkalounger in the locker room and referring to himself in the third person.

That was the beginning of the end for me as an NBA fan.
