    I read this article too, and based on the headline, I expected to read a load of Machado shit-talking. Honestly, nothing he said was controversial or more than I would expect from any other opponent. We know every team is going to be fired up to get to try to knock off the champions and big spenders.

    His problem is similar to most every rich kid I've very taught: daddy earned too much & spoiled his boyo, and boyo ain't never gonna stack up.

    Let's not kid ourselves. He's a pretty damn good baseball player when healthy and I doubt he's going away anytime soon.

    But yeah, he's also about as dense as they come. Griffey Jr was able to remain level-headed, and I don't know much about Bobby Witt Jr but so far haven't heard anything bad about him. But Bonds* and Tatis -- don't these guys ever learn that it's one's actions that earn respect, not one's mouth?

    But I wager he'll fuck it up. He'll bungee jump on ASB while out with a calf strain; straighten out a curve on PCH while ripped on Herradura; bitch-slap a shorty on YT & go full-Urias; go Jeff Kent & break an arm in September wrecking his Ducati.

    He's fucking stupid. He'll blow it.

    Or not. Maybe he'll retire in 2045 with 800 homers ...

    you’re one of the (in my experience) few exceptions to the rule
    sadly i’ve had to deal with a lot of idiot blowhards that prefer to use catchphrases instead of substance
    it’s one thing to say “the reality is” when it’s backed up with facts as opposed to the assclowns that throw it out unsupported and expect you to be dazzled and/or flummoxed
