This team doesn't seem any better than the last 2 seasons. Easy to win this now pathetic division, but we all know what the fucking goal is. I just don't see any move at this point that gets us there.

Trout was at the Lakers/Sixers game in Philly on Sunday. Gonna be a huge upset if Philly doesn't nab him in free agency

If you were Philly, would you save your ammo this year and skip Harper/Machado for a chance at Trout later on?

Go hard after Machado now with the plan to sign Trout in two years. Machado locks your incredibly talented infield up through 2022 at an AAV roughly around $50M per. Plus 2/3rds of the OF at 22M per through 2021. That would give them roughly $80-110M to round out the rest of the roster in the years ahead and open up some tradable assets that could net them interesting prospects. Their pitching is still an issue, but by the time year one is done, they are freeing up some iffy money on bullpen expenditures.

So you're getting rid Bohm, the #1 guy on their farm 3B 3rd overall draft pick?
Or maybe deal Cesar Hernandez since he's still locked in and slide Segura over to 2B? Segura's really a SS, but he's had some time at 2B, could make it work

Trout gonna shock everybody in free agency and replace Ben Simmons at point guard in 2021. Go get those NBA endorsements, signature shoes, etc.

Dodgers get Harper, I buy season tickets. Dodgers do nothing, I'll go when someone gives me tickets. Maybe

CKWG was talking about the Phillies. Are you saying this will be the Phillies lineup in 2021?

Not really news or a rumor, but I'll take it. If we win that game and win the series, that becomes an iconic moment in Dodgers history. But the way it played out it's just a heartbreaking reminder that we lost to an inferior team. Even worse is that the main-stream-media dubbed that game (and Game 5) an instant fall classic, when it was really just a shit show at the end.

re:Harper....Nightengale went on to declare the Nationals and Dodgers “definitely out of it,” though some of his skeptics will surely take that as a sign that Los Angeles is scheduling a press conference for Wednesday.

    We have a chance.
