    i think (not sure) they’d fly to AZ for a couple of games — just prior to the FWY series — if the regular season opener was at home
    that way they’d be well rested and eliminate any jet lag/brain fog from a cross country flight
    again just a guess, but regardless…

    Dave Roberts suggested it’s hard to see a scenario where Santiago Espinal doesn’t open the season in the majors with the Dodgers. Said he has fit in “seamlessly” with the group.

    Except he hasn't played awful during this preseason. Just the opposite, really.

    But Roberts is right - there's no open spot for him. Though I don't know why he can't stay in the minors as an insurance policy.
