    @THEREAL_DV
    Blake Snell pitched 3 scoreless innings for Ontario tonight throwing 39 pitches with 6 strikeouts and no walks. Next stop likely OKC for another rehab start next week.

    It still wont let me sign in the conventional way. Since everyone else is writing it's OK with them, it must be my tablet and my singular problem .I get on by a circuitous route, using an unclosed tab. Bur I really don't know if my post will go through.
    Thanks for your effort @TAFNAC.

    Tarik Skubal out 2 to 3 months
    undergoing a procedure to remove loose pieces from his elbow
    Should have traded him for a kings ransom when they had the chance

    Ouch, that's gotta hurt - and I'm not referring to Skubal's elbow.

    I wonder if they're more or less likely to trade him now. More because he's not going to do them any good until it may be too late this season. Or less because they won't get nearly the same haul that they could've.

    I wonder if Skubal will even be willing to pitch this year after he's fully recovered
    He obviously considers his pending free agency in the moves he makes – WBC
    I wouldn't be shocked if Skubal just shuts it down until he signs his contract

    Yeah, a definite possibility. Unless he thinks it's important to prove to prospective suitors that he's fully recovered.

    unless its an injury that requires that type of recovery time i think he'd have to or risk looking like an all me kind of guy. wouldn't hold it against him if he did but even if he came back throwing bp outings would it really affect his perceived/actual value as an mlb pitcher?

    @FabianArdaya
    Some injury updates, per Dave Roberts:
    • Kiké Hernández (left elbow) will start a rehab this week, as soon as tomorrow
    • Mookie Betts (oblique) will face live pitching Thursday. If all goes well, could start a rehab “soon.”
    • Tommy Edman is on a “slow program.” Still sore.

    @noahcamras
    Justin Wrobleski has made five starts this year:
    • 6 IP, 0 ER, 0 K, 83 pitches vs. STL
    • 6 IP, 0 ER, 6 K, 109 pitches vs. CHC
    • 7 IP, 1 ER, 3 K, 97 pitches vs. COL
    • 8 IP, 0 ER, 2 K, 90 pitches vs. NYM
    • 5 IP, 1 ER, 2 K, 78 pitches vs. TOR
    That's an 0.56 ERA.
    Dominance.

    i was thinking the same thing but got sidetracked creating the cinco de mayo thread
    guessing it has more to due with the ohtani infatuation than wrobo’s accomplishments
    plus the mainstream media sucks up to the japanese business lords and not so much with the polish
    using skiing parlance… slopes > poles

    Thank you.
    And I don't even know what it means.
    Only that Richard Reed, the shoe bomber, looked like Jeff Goldblum on a weekend meth bender...

    Mookie Betts’ rehab stint might be a brief one. Betts could return to the Dodgers as soon as Monday, a source said, which could spark one of several intriguing roster decisions the team has to make in coming weeks.

    buh bye kim
    too bad roberts hates you
    thanks for the memories
