Rich Dad Poor Dad might be the first book I ever bought
Never read and ultimately gave it away to a friend I thought could use it
Funny thing is I needed it but it was the easy thing for me to do in giving it away cause it took me away from a task I needed to complete
    Pussy ass move
    Live and learn

A quick read or listen if you buy on Audible that would benefit everybody, imo, is The Richest Man in Babylon.
I think it is less than 100 pages and $5
I never read it, only listened on audio
I will read it at some point the book is a good book and I want it in my collection

I read Richest Man in Babylon ... Good stuff. That was when I started paying off debt and making my money work harder than me.

Good to know you enjoyed that book, too.

Looks like Musk's "free speech" movement does have a price tag, and it appears to be less than $54 per share.

Again, this is about Musk's ego, not fundamental freedom. It's about buying his "free" speech.

He screws this up, and he's going to be on the wrong end of another securities fraud/violation, ironically the 2nd time involving Twitter.

Did they delve into his tendency to ply teenage girls with liquor & drugs so he could molest them? Seriously. Did that get mentioned or did HBO continue protecting their pet?

Not me. I'm pure of heart.

Seriously. He used to be a houseguest of Debbie Reynolds in the 60s. When Carrie Fisher was 10 years old - she talked about it several times in interviews after Carlin died - she said he'd smoke up the kids and play spin the bottle with them. It was fairly well known that he was a pervert. The guy was a hot mess of anger, fury, and hatred in his later years. Sure, he was funny and I get that. But most comics that I've known are just depraved SOBs, sincerely. Look how Cosby turned out to be. Plus Louie CK jerking himself off in the room for female comics to see. It's a grotesque profession.

Anyway, I know Carlin is beloved of many and I laughed my ass off at the guy for years. But HBO had a tight relationship with him for years. All HBO had for 20 years was boxing and Carlin. So I just wondered if they would let the unsavory stuff about him come out in this documentary.

If anyone thinks this guy cares about free speech....

This is just another platform to amplify his ponzi scheme and keep the investors coming just a little longer.

Plus he was jealous Bezos has WaPo. He wanted to invest in a dying platform too

I meant no disrespect. I'm saying more about HBO than anything. In the world of woke, they are the Orwellian ambassadors of lies and obfuscation.

I have no stake or horse in the race of George Carlin, just know he made people laugh. It happens to be on HBO.
It doesn't matter at all, to me, what station it's on.
I think it's just better not to post such things. Something always seems wrong about it, almost without fail.
    My bad.

I just wanna say thanks to Cinemax.
For many years it was the only premium network I could hack into by fiddling with the tuner on the box and getting it stuck in between signals. It would be a little distorted with like the top quarter of the screen at the bottom. But i wasn't watching it for the cinematography.
HBO now owns Cinemax so I guess my childhood memories are based off some evil corporation that rapes kittens.and kills grandmas.
Thanks a lot for ruining another great American treasure you rat finski!
