This was on Carolla's podcast last week. Very cool ... If you aren't listening to Ace ... You ought to be.
Tesla is a perfect example of the grift. Less than 5% of new car sales in the US, but valued at more than the big three and Toyota combined, all the whole being ranked at the bottom of the J.D. Power initial quality survey. They've lost half their value in the last year and based on fundamentals, they probably have another halving going forward. I realize that it's not solely Elon's fault that Tesla was/is so overvalued, but he certainly has a hand in it. The biggest lie is"full self driving." It's only a level 2 automation system and doesn't have the hardware to ever be anything else, yet he claims any Tesla can be a robotaxi when he knows that's not possible. Don't forget the securities fraud in 2018 ($40 million dollar fine and had to step down as chairman) regarding the share price and financing of deals to take Tesla private. Elon constantly lies about what Tesla can do to artificially prop up the value.
Solid take. I don't see Musk as a savior. I already know that He's a Jewish carpenter's son. Fact is, Musk ass fu**ed the left at their own game. So I'm for him. He's done nothing that a dozen top leftists like Bezos, Buffett, & Zuckerberg haven't already done. Let's slay the lot & start fresh. I'm for it myself.
the fact that he filled the void for a government hell bent on having electric go mainstream before it was ready for prime time is definitely not his fault i didn't realize he promised the self driving stuff was ready to go and i have friends that swear its happening so maybe people really wanted to hear that i don't see him as a savior at all but for sure he's the only one putting up his money and pushing back against the woke fools my ex just leased a Tesla and that's fine w me if i can get some tax credits but i'd never buy one i've also heard him say that replacing gas powered vehicles is decades away and electric is only part of the answer
The story is that originally, he spoke about " I don't get no respect "...but his wife changed it to what it is...either way, it's Rodney. Miss him.
I have learned not to say "what's that" to my dog when she is in front of a mirror - she will not stop barking at herself now.
Not a huge horror movie guy, but I always enjoyed the Nightmare on Elm St series from the most part... Maybe this reboot will be worth it ....
Virgin had this on its play list w very few other interesting films on an 11 hour flight so i watched it and have never seen anything like it this one was a good story and the actors made it better than worthwhile
I'd like to see Black Phone. Haven't heard of the other. I'll check it out at your suggestion though.
there's literally no words or dialogue other than disgusting foul grotesque noises meant to amplify the visuals supposedly about an assassin that descends the depths of hell and its certainly one of a kind
