I read that all four leads were nominated for GG or something, if that means anything...a really weird film is 'Menu.'..something different, ourageous, almost a Agatha Christie thing, with Ralph Fiennes soaring.
Yes. Thanks, bro...but I won't be ordering one of those too soon. Lol. Probably tastes awesome, but the life/ death thing, y' know ...
have to relate a recent event regarding cholesterol so there is this most amazing little hole in the wall taco place in Chatsworth called fast taco and i've been going there 30 years plus its run by two second gen Armenian brothers and one cook Alfredo that's been there for 20+ years nothing fancy but its really good and has a legendary status along w Earls donuts, San Carlo deli and the Munch box ok maybe not in the same league as those but pretty damn close anyway over the years I forged a pretty decent friendship w one of the brothers, Steve, based on 10 minute animated conversations got him set up on his first trip to CR close to 20 years ago and i go in probably once every 2 -3 months mostly because parking sucks in their strip mall location was in early Nov. because i'd remembered he lived in Spain for a year and wanted to pick his brain on places to see he told me he was going to CR that month and we laughed about stuff, dude was always smiling and in a good mood as you probably guessed by now he's no longer with us and passed at 58 the guy was tall and fit, ran 2 miles a day, didn't do drugs, eat sugar or salt if he could avoid it on Christmas eve he was supposed to go to his brothers and they ended up finding him dead on the floor in the middle of getting dressed the autopsy showed he had a massive heart attack because cholesterol had closed all the arteries to his heart when i asked the brother if he went for checkups he said no he hated the doctor and i can relate because most of us do for the longest time i didn't go either and recently had 3 polyps removed that were pre cancerous take bp and cholesterol meds every day that i really don't like and wish i didn't need for the last couple of years thing is its NOT an option to not go once you're over 50 or you're playing Russian roulette w your life if any one of you here is reading this and haven't gone to see your doctor please do it now the man didn't have to die so soon and a lot of people are going to miss him, i know i will i told his brother i'd fill in until they found the right guy to get behind the register so the devil might be slinging tacos for a few at least he got to get that last trip down south to see the CR beauties
Not that this is any kind of insurance policy, but although strattled with Afib, heart failure, hypertension, tinnitus, gout, etc., etc., the highest cholesterol reading I ever had is 152. Now, I don't get it at all, but written across my substantially thick medical file in my primary physician's office is : "cholesterol is not a problem ". I guess you either have a propensity for it or not. I grew up eating Italian food and English food, and I'm sure high cholesterol were probably words they never even thought twice about. But piled it on just about single every meal and afters. So... Gotta go now. Going to Clifton....
The reasons why the Dodgers behaved the way they did during the off season are in a document, or documents, are at Andy's house, in a locked garage. With his Corvette.
