    RIP Graham Green,73 .
Green was probably the top Native American actor in films today. You might remember him as Kicking Bird in Dances With Wolves. He was in many many films, and even played in a few not as an Indian.
He was one of my personal favorites, along with Chief Dan George and Wes Studi.
A big loss to the acting community , not only to Native Americans.

    RIP Jane Goodall.
Might be the wrong place here, but her work is at least as important as entertainers and the like.
I remember her program on PBS years ago when she was first thrust into the public conscienceness.
Her dedication led to a much better understanding of primates and their plight.

Indeed, Irish. In every sense of the word.
Going over her career today in a few articles written about her life, she was even more instrumental in animal abuse awareness than I even knew. She had achieved enough fame as an individual, that she bravely opened global eyes and ears about SO MANY brutally cruel established animal treatments world wide, in many aspects. Cringeworthy.
Animals share the earth with homo sapiens...us. We do not own them, and they are not here for whatever is deemed allowable for whatever reasons...by us.

So, we are leaving tonight for the Alabama Gulf Coast for a week, bitches. I'll try to limit watching games from my phone but who knows ... wish me luck and I'll pass through Cullman, AL on the way ... just to keep perspective....

    You had me at "wonderhole."*

    Safe travels Finski, and enjoy.

*Disclaimer: I'm traveling too with weak internet and can't open the link, so if it's something demented and perverted, I retract that statement.

so i may or may not be a bigger stoner than anyone here but i stumbled upon something i'm sure BDK probably already knows about in a smoke shop
i'm sure most of you have heard about kratom and i had tried it w extremely limited to no results at all and so i ignored it more or less the last few years
well they started pressing these things called 7-oh of which i had zero experience or awareness until last week
out w my lifelong buddy for our weekly breakfast/lunch/wandering day and stumbled into this smoke shop in Valencia
i was looking for maybe a thc shot or idk something w a mild buzz to make shopping in a thrift/antique shop more interesting
the owner was some older middle eastern guy that was selling things but didn't have much first hand knowledge of the products
suddenly he's like "have you seen these?" sort of excitedly and handed us this press pack of something called perks
his only advice was to only take half of one 30mg pill so that's what we did and went into a little dive bar for a 1pm beer
we're sitting there talking to the bar lady who's nice and a couple of barflies when in walks a guy my buddy worked w at DWP
i don't know him of course but we all stand up and start talking and laughing and its pretty animated and then we remember my friend needs to go to total wine
he'd been to Nobu recently and said they mixed the perfect martini so we were on a quest to locate the ingredients
on the way out to the car he asked me if i felt anything from the kratom and i'm like yeah i suppose i do
we found a couple of nice lesbians (no easy feat these days) in total wine and located the Japanese gin (Suntori who knew?) and were really enjoying ourselves
i'd describe my 15mg high as a cross between a mild opiate high combined w a mild mushroom buzz
nothing too strong or hallucinations and jittery stuff
just a fun walking around smooth feel good buzz w no noticeable side affects
i'm sure people will abuse it and it looks like the FDA is already trying to ban it so if you're curious i'd move quickly
not cheap at and average of $10 a pill or $40 on a 4 pack but i really enjoyed it so i thought i'd share bkitches

    RIP Annie Hall.
I'll never forget her "La De Da...La De Da". One of the funniest in its day.
Keaton made some really good movies in her career...an early one was Looking For Mr. Goodbar...and of course, as Kate Corleone.
