First thought that comes to mind... "If the tasmanian devil - the cartoon - was a dog." I can't even imagine. Super impressive breed no doubt, some aspects of having one would be really cool, but I think I value my house/garden/sanity too much to expose to this level of crazy.
guessing the must have plenty of rescues cause that demeanor is not for the average pet owner love the one getting put in its dog run and just clearing it in one bounce i've seen jack russells w that kind of unbridled energy but at least those are small sure they mellow out a little after the first two years or so
look at this animal! its military trained so basically you're fucking dead https://x.com/IndianaGPA/status/2013304543153439111?s=20
Yep. Awesome. No accident that cops & soldiers train these breeds to assist in ops. The stupidest Malinois is smarter than most people out there.
If I had one of this excellent breed ( not good for geriatrics, definitely, Diablo right as rain), I would name him Poirot. A guy I know has two Australian Sheepdogs and was struggling to name them. I suggested Dondee and Billabong. When I found out one was a female, what's better than Matilda or Sheila ?
Poirot is a superb name. Wife is an Agatha Christie worshipper & now she insists that we name our next critter that. Well done, Zoobi-Wan.
My pleasure...if you're looking for a Godparent...I'm available. Imperative you post photos when this comes to fruition...
Talk about social growth ... pet baptisms & godparents. Let's start a movement. My old dog Boot (Heinz 57 mix) was incapable of avoiding water. He'd bite the water coming out of a hose, faucet, or a sprinkler. Neighbor's pool, or at the park? He's in it, moss & tadpoles be damned. Beach? He'd be out past the sand bar. Scared the hell out of us. But no problem. Boot was a whackado. His brother Kilroy couldn't GAF about water. Never had a pulse above normal. Chilled out constantly. Coolest dog ever. Distinct personalities... dags are something else.
Interesting that brother dogs could be opposites like that when it comes to water. I always thought that generally, their love or aversion to water was bred into them. In other words, herding dogs would avoid water (our collie hates it) and retrievers would go out of their way to jump in it.
Boot & Kilroy had an Irish setter/German shepherd mom & a St Bernard/Lab dad. Plus something like a wire terrier in there somewhere. They were all strays. We fed about a dozen. It was on Berendo in LA. It's the 105 now. Then, Crips used strays as target practice; pellet guns, 22s, soda bottles. Lots of dead dogs. Real gruesome shit. The dogs were more human than those hoodlums. My Dad made it his mission to protect as many of them as we could. Our place was surrounded by dogs. We had to get our mail at the post office. But we never got burglarized.
Not BZoo levels here yet, but 'Tucky gonna be snowed in over the next few days (week?) ... We've got plenty of food, a full generator .... And yes...
