I'll post this here, for the hell of it ... Wife heard me berating DEI Dave last night. I was in rare form (I'm rarely well done <--- see wtf I did there?) ... I was reading y'all post as Edwin Undid the lead last night, and meanwhile... our Dag Ella ate a garbage bag full of cooked BBQ pork ribs ends and was barfing up a storm everywhere from late Wednesday until 5AM this morning. I didn't get more than an hour's sleep last night. ... anyway, we averted a vet trip with my neighbor's help (he's a vet, so) and a bunch of chicken broth & canned pumpkin puree later ... my Ella is shitting more and hasn't puked since early today when I awoke with dog yak all over my feet where I had her resting between upchucks (my goal is to utilize a different synonym for regurgitate in this post) ... So, I've been a fucking zombie all day, can't sleep in the daylight when it's 100⁰ heat index & I'm on home school/dog watch until wife returns after 5.... And this clip pops up on YT, and right away, I'm thinking "Colin Farrell is 50% me & 50% Diablo ... I'm the smartass but Devil can kick some ass ... if only life worked this way in LA, huh? Anyway ... I need sleep. Just took my first THC gummy ever. Hope it helps my rest. And I hope that whilst I dream, somebody give DEI Dave a dose too. Why not? Today is INTERNATIONAL HOMELESS ANIMALS DAY ! Please spread the word to anyone you know who has unspayed or uncastrated rescues to have their pets fixed. It's of utmost important, as they have no voice but ours to try and make a difference. Animals are being abused at a record pace, and we can all do our small part to try and help to end this global savagery. Thank you. Seriously.
Ella, our rescue from last October, kept me up all night this week. Puked all over everything. Today, she's dandy. Glad she made it. Pooches are worth the mess. Cats, too.

have been working hard to move in owls and red tails to the property and its finally working. i haven't been trapping many rats or mice and the crows are getting frustrated. drawback is the rabbits are getting consumed. the squirrels seem to have decreased but that's a positive as they can't lay off my plants. especially the garbage ground squirrels which are basically rats w big tails. i think i have an owl family right outside my window in a house i mounted on a power pole. that is incredibly cool to hear at night. might be adopting an Australian cattle dog. life is good.
