funny you say that cause it was a Thanksgiving convo that i instantly ended my step daughter and her wife were sitting directly across from me and the subject of imperialists came up having a wife and daughter from Sri Lanka i made a comment that it wasn't exactly all bad that the English colonized, built roads , brought the tea industry, hot water. less disease etc i got a heated retort that they would have been better off left alone and that's something a white imperialist would say having just visited Spain and Portugal i pointed out that those conquering countries weren't exactly blancos although technically i guess they're caucasian since Europe and all needless to say she wasn't having any of that and i just changed the subject pretty absurd how volatile every conversation has become for sure its all whiteys fault
