could have run out the clock potentially. a lot of plays in that game screamed bad coaching. or players not paying attention. to me the most egregious was not boxing out the entry passer. there were like 4 guys standing there waiting for it to bounce off staring at the ball. idiots.
It takes a whole heap of fuck ups on every level to only score 30 points total in the 2nd half after scoring 76 points in the 1st half
Went to a Spike Lee seminar in E. Stroudsburg U. when I lived in PA. He got up there and gave a total excoriation of "The Green Mile" as a racist, derrogate and insult and mocking of the the black man, white supremist rant film. Uncomfortably so. On and on...so, people- mostly students I would say, got up and walked out on him. Many black ones, too. As they walked out, he yelled something at them...one kid turned around, and said exactly what you wrote, also including " you're the most boring asshole in films today who got lucky a couple of times"...
Yeah, I stayed until the end. It was generally a disappointment, but there wasn't a whole lot to do for film freak like me in the Poconos. When he was done spouting his hater shit, it was a question and answer thing, the way these things usually go. After a very few, the audience that was left seemed disinterested, and that was that.
ah we share the art gallery thing. not so much the film unless its Dali or something twisted but i love a good art gallery. can get lost for hours. hard to find people that like to do the same. usually ends up w me being dragged along and out w the requisite i'm hungry complaints.
Been there, done that so many times I can't count 'em...I found that eventually, not waiting to go with someone who is even remotely as intersted as you are, go alone. And also with films. Or you'll never get to see what you really want to..
