The UFC event looks so cool. The military band and singers are killing it! The outdoor venue and backdrop are beautiful. The fighters, broadcasters, and crowd are all in awe themselves.
Would love to go to somethnig like this or even the Field of Dreams game that MLB did a while back. The first Ducks/Kings game at Dodger Stadium was really cool but the novelty has worn off on the outdoor hockey. I love the live music they are using tonight. Makes me miss Nancy Bea at Dodger Stadium, before she got sidelined for blaring DJ music and Deiter Ruhle's obnoxious arena style organ. I remember going to a weekday afternoon game as a kid against the Pirates, with Nancy playing "A Pirate's Life for Me" in warm tones on the organ during the starting lineups.

that guy definitely spent some time under the spell of Hefley. can smell the gin and cigs. Nancy Bea was damn hot in her day! girl next door gorgeous if you ask me. rumored to have been one of the first to wear a thong and her first year w the team was 1988! i didn't know that and thought she was there from my childhood as well. clearly someone else. ah that was Helen Dell! more on her later...
of course that really doesn't touch on the part very few want to talk about. Nancy Bea was quite proud of her abilities and once it got out there, well things happen don't they? i know i never heard "take me out to the ball game" quite the same again. as most knew the stardom went to her head and set off numerous flings and affairs that left Bill on the verge of a breakdown. the Uecker thing was brutal for him and of course his legendary confrontation w Kemp will long be a moment the team wishes they could forget. that and Lasorda infamously soliciting Frank to ban her from the dugout the obamas are trying to get an unlicensed life story (Hefley was a goer, know what i mean?) together for netflix that's been met w legal hurdles. no word on the XXX version NancyB not you mothers organist. like it or not she's a Dodger legend and a once in a lifetime stadium organist.
I know there's not many soccer fans here but that was a great game Uruguay knocking off Germany I enjoyed that a lot
