A guy (Not sure if wise or not) once said "show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser".

Monday morning quarterbacking buddy. We'd all be stroking our boners if this team was playing like we expect them to and should and they'd be running away with this division. I'm glad they made the moves they did, all of them. Win or lose, at least they tried to feed us what we want ASAP. If they played like this without the big trade we'd be pissed that they didn't make the trade if we knew they passed on it. We'd be saying what we said all fucking year. "We're 1 big bat away" or saying "We could've replaced Loney with AGon and didn't? Fuck this ownership!"

I'm as pissed as everybody is...but we all se what's going on out there. We have unforseen injuries yet again, and add that to the offense not doing fucking shit but scoring 3 runs per game which is also destroying our bullpen.

Everyone once again bitching about Harang and the bullpen...they gave up 4 runs and we lost. 4 runs when your worst starter is pitching is fucking great. I'll take that the rest of my life! We should be scoring over 4 every fucking game. The lineup again is to blame IMO.

I can't take this level of BB anymore.
Quite honestly, I'd rather ,since we are only capable of this totally mundane run production game after game, have the team we had...at least then, the nothingness we achieve every night would be more valid. Looks like we are fighting against all odds then, not a bunch of finook loser superstars.
But now, we 've got this "murderer's row" from 1-6 supposedly, and we are getting beat by he scrubbiest teams around. For me, it makes it worse. I don't care if Magic and Kasten spend every cent they have, it's just that the "Yankee thing" only works part of the time, and everyone knows it. Looks like some players like Headly and Scutaro would have served us better. I know-2013-that's the year!
We are losers. It sure looks that way.
The first inning thing is a huge part of this whole spiral.
It's too frustrating to watch us struggle to get back even, then blow it all most of the time, with a way overused BP.
I'm wondering when Belisario is going in for surgery. It's amazing the guy has any stuff left, much less an arm at all.

Great analogy. Along with the "film with all A list actors that sucks...right again.
Thing was, the Queeg character was a winner and a brave man at one point, and folded under the stress of combat.
Mattingly has done shit, except get all the accolades at the beginning of the season when we were flying high, and lots of opinions about being a great guy and a fabulous motivator. Granted, his situation is somewhat dire now losing his no.2, 3 pitcher and closer.
But how does Bruce Bochy do it then? leader, that's how?
Well maybe DBB should damn well motivate a few guys , like the CF for one, into getting a few fucking RBIs.
The "good guy" thing is way over rated. He gets paid to win, not sing Kumbaya in the clubhouse. Bottom line is bottom line.
Billy Martin wasn't exactly a player favorite, but they won for him. And now we can't say we don't have the players; or we're still a bat away...didn't we just go out and buy the best around? Not counting the surgery guy and and Punto and huge question mark pitcher, of course.
I'd rather have a prick manager winner, than an affable good guy loser. Didn't we go through this kiddie BS a few times already? I don't give a shit if Kemp's content. Don't seem like the "Sunny Jim" shit's working with him, does it?
Kemp looks very troubled to me. Very.

not exactly monday morning quarterbacking sr. suicidal.
i didn't like it for the reasons i stated when the deal was on the table. said so many times.
but i at least thought we would be competing. not trying to say i could have envisioned this level of disaster with complete meltdown.
i like the fact the ownership tried to do something but we got raped financially. of that there is little doubt. so when the players involved under perform we just look that much more foolish. now if those pitchers turn out to be what everyone has been projecting them to be the laughter goes on for decades.
it was one thing to want gonzo in and i was all for that. but we let boston drop our drawers and steal our wallet. its more than a little humiliating.
no i didn't think it would be this bad this quick and maybe they pull it together next year. right now we have highly paid under performing "stars" with huge contracts. not sure how you motivate that or what you do w them when you can't. or what you do with them when they just can't get it done anymore.
thats not to mention the drama thats bound to surface. maybe this year when they start finger pointing. if you wanted to be the yankees west. you got it and it was at least predictable to some extent.
now lets pray webster and rdlr don't have prolific careers right?
