Now the 'norse' or more classically the mythology of the land of Nod says there is a giant serpent encircling the drain.
But the science says that there is a molten sea of lava deep under the massive iceberg that Greenland is situated upon.
A sea liquid metal maelstrom that circulates like a massive whirlpool that creates so much friction that the heat is melting the anchors that moor that entire mountain of ice and rock and snow and dirt.
Of course we middle earth people know it in our myths as hell.
And the area under that iceberg under Greenland is like the spot on your head when you are a baby and your skull has not properly fused yet.
