Surprised we don't hear more about politicians having heart attacks

Lindsey seemed to get made fun of a lot, but he's a human being and I hope he is in the presence of the Lord.

I'm no longer in the practice of saying "he's going to hell!" but I'll also say that - as an honest sinner - if I go to hell, I fully expect to see millions of these 5 persons there:

    - teachers
    - politicians
    - lawyers
    - bureaucrats
    - lobbyists

Notice how pimps, hookers, rapists, murderers, etc. aren't on that list ...

Because 90% of hell will be those 5, but the others aren't as numerous.

i do as well, i just got tired of him landing on certain issues once it became apparent it would pass. as a man i have a lot of respect for him. he raised his sister after their parents died at the age of 21 and still in college. he served this country for 3 decades in the military. by all accounts a really good person. i was always pretty confident he was a gay man and he managed to never have that be a big deal and kept his business private. that was his choice and for me had zero to do w how i assessed him in how he did his job. his personal wealth is said to be over $2 million which means he apparently didn't steal from us .being extremely anti war i always saw him as a bit hawkish for my taste. but he has moved on from this world into the next should it exist. if there is judgement the is between him and God.

as far as how these guys deal w the stress of their jobs and i have a theory. the amount of lies, deceit and corruption they play part to daily slowly turns their faces to stone. look at how bizarre most of their faces are. by the time you're 50 i think who you are inside is showing on your face. and its worse as a liar ages. to that end i'll say he looked pretty normal amongst monsters. i think he was comfortable in who he was. and in remarkable shape for someone to suddenly pass. but we all see it happen in our lives. when its your time you're going. a lot of people we'd prefer to see pass before Lindsey. i know that's not a great thing to think but there it is.

"We are reinstating the THE IRANIAN BLOCKADE, so named because it is only stopping Iran’s ships or customers from entering or leaving. All other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait. The U.S.A. will be, from this point forward, known as “THE GUARDIAN OF THE HORMUZ STRAIT,” but as such, and as a matter of FAIRNESS, will be reimbursed, at the rate of 20% on all cargo shipped, for any and all costs necessary to do the job of providing safety and security to this very volatile section of the World. The process and formation will begin immediately." DJT

Would pay a lot of money to watch live reaction shots of the Mullahs to these tweets.

We probably wont know how successful these things are until it's retrospect, but I'm ngl...the Donroe Doctrine gets me going a little bit. I guess that's the little Lindsey in me (no homo)

I know you meant Monroe Doctrine...

As similar as we are, that Doctrine always bugged me. I get its use and need a century ago, but the socialism & dictatoriality of third world regimes now is vastly different than it was in 1823 ... or 1950s+ ... yes, the USA controls their hemisphere but the Strait? For the life of me, why in hell didn’t the Israelis handle this entire thing & then act as the Strait's police force?

    I know why they didn't, btw. I'm not 9.

But still ... so much of this goatfuck should be 1) over already & 2) handled mostly by Israel & Co.

I'm sorry for his family and loved ones.

But the world is a better place without him in it.

wow harsh. i despise politics and the manner in which the people who operate within that world operate. but stop short of good riddance. politics is what it is and we'd all probably be better without it but there it is. like i said earlier the man died w $2mil or less by most projections. after 23 years in the senate that has to be a massive anomaly. i always called him flim flam man but at least his heart was in the right place apparently. his hands obviously weren't in our pockets like the other 99.99% of politicians. i'd take 99 more people like that in the senate and he wasn't a disgusting socialist/commie. teho

Marcus Williams was electrocuted while attempting to pry open an ATM with a metal bar (Video HERE)

Surveillance footage captured 18-year-old Marcus Williams approaching an ATM late at night carrying a metal pry bar. When he attempted to force the machine open, the metal bar made direct contact with internal electrical components, sending a fatal surge of electricity through his body.

Following his death, his family sued the bank for $500,000. The court ruled that his death was the direct result of his own criminal actions and that the bank carried no liability. The judge dismissed the lawsuit and ordered the family to pay the bank for the physical repair costs of the damaged ATM.

That's great. However, in related news...

Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek has signed legislation permanently banning the use of electricity in any ATMs across the state.

Supporters say the change will help remove barriers of continued living that have disproportionately affected people of stupidity and other underserved groups. Critics argue it lowers standards of common sense and puts the state in a clear path to idiocracy, with one commenting, "What will she ban next, The Darwin Awards?"

Inflation drops -0.4 month over month, the largest dip in 6 years. Seems like good news. I'll take any W.

It was reported a couple days ago that Trump's national approval rating is higher than Obama and Bush at this point in their second terms, per RCP average. I don't bring this up to say it's a historic accomplishment, but it's interesting to me for a few reasons...
For one, literally 97 percent of stories written about him are negative.
Even more of a takeaway, for me, is how little influence people in Podcastistan (Candace Owens, Megyn Kelley, Tucker Carlson, "comedian" Dave Smith, etc) have. They cry all day long about how America is the most evil aggressor in the world, Israel killed Charlie Kirk with an explosive microphone, DT is the anti-Christ, they are leaving the Republican party, etc., and it just doesn't matter at all.
Podcastistan heroes like Thomas Massie, Bill Cassidy, and John Cornyn have been purged.
The Republicans will probably only need to win about 25% of toss up seats to retain the house (which would be just the third time in history for an incumbent president's party to retain the house and senate - might need to be fact checked on this).
Trump's approval at this stage of a presidency is the same or better than any other president of the 21st century.
Patriotism has been alive and well the past month (highlight for me being the UFC event)...the average person loves this country and most people don't even care about politics.
As someone who works alone most of the time, I used to have similar poison podcasts and shows on in the background all the time. Discovering how pointless it is. Just making professional complainers rich.
I much prefer loving and rooting for America.

One last thought...it's crazy how past presidents would have such drastic approval fluctuations (Reagan as low as 30% and as high as 60%+...Truman in the 20s). Now and moving forward, I don't think that's even possible. High floor/low ceiling is what I expect to see for all presidents. The partisian divide is too strong now. Discontentment and radicalization is also worse than it's ever been.

    @DrcharlieWardQ
BREAKING Adam Carolla: “People say to me all the time, ‘Oh, you’re Republican and right-leaning. I go, ‘Listen, I don’t own a g*n, I’m not religious at all, I’m for abortion and pot smoking. How right can I be?’”

Bill Maher: “You put your finger on the thing that makes me so incensed about the woke and far-left… We need no further credentials to let you know that we are certainly not conservatives, we’re not right-wingers, we’re not whatever you think.”

“And yet, it’s never enough for them. It’s never enough. We’re just not willing to go along with your insanity. That doesn’t make us conservatives.”

i don't see the problem w being a conservative thinking person. right winger is just a made up term to slam anyone to the right of leftists and marxists. i'm proud to be conservative even though i'm not religious, anti abortion 100% and am known to smoke here and there. it's like being called shrewd like its a bad word. of course i am. what's the option? paying no attention and allowing others to take advantage of you? seems like liberal means you need to be willing to accept anything like mutilation of young naive people. never going to happen and its cost me dearly in family relationships. having morality whatsoever and common sense doesn't make you "right wing". jmho

Barack Obama is now targeting Hungary and Poland because they’re rejecting open borders.

This guy really is a menace to all of humanity.

He needs to be legally jailed for life.

    I’m serious.
