“[Kershaw] is one of the guys I grew up watching. I hope he isn’t tired of me by the time the All-Star Game is done. I’m going to pick his brain as much as I can just because of everything he’s accomplished in this game. It’s going to be a pinch-me moment. Just a cool opportunity to share a clubhouse with him for a day.”

Despite the series win it didn't get here soon enough.

Signed......the entire Dodger lineup and Tanner Scott.

The Red Sox have to be pissed about the break

Winners of 10 in a row…certainly didn’t see them playing so well after the Devers deal

Getting perverse pleasure watching Devers struggle in SF, although he scared the shit out of us in the 10th.

He eyebaalled Vesia muy mucho after the strikeout.

I think Devers thinks he's a badass. Sounds like he needs a 98mph heater in the ribs.

Devers is a cancer. Same reason Machado has never won a championship. Kind of reminds me of Carmelo Anthony. Every time he got traded, the team that dealt him got better and the team that acquired him got worse (see Nuggets and Knicks, circa 2011).

Blacks = 12% of USA population.

Blacks = 6% of MLB rosters
Blacks = 75% of NBA rosters
Blacks = 70% of NFL rosters
Blacks = 4% of NHL rosters

Therefore.... baseball & hockey are racist & NEED TO FIX THIS PROBLEM, MUTHAFUCKAS!

The NBA & NFL are just fine. Just because slopes, kikes, honkies, & spics can't play corner back or power forward is their problem.

    BLACK POWER, BITCH!

    @SleeperDodgers
A-Rod to Lindor on FOX: “You guys had the Dodgers on the ropes last fall.”
    Well…
    • LA won in 6
    • Never trailed in the series (in games)
    • LA had a 3-1 series lead
    • Outscored the Mets by 20

“On the ropes” Bro, what were you watching?

Warmed my evil heart to see a Giant reliever cough up a couple of runs.

The Hank tribute (with the Vin call) was the highlight of the night.

fsu, do you remember the 1983 ASG? I'm sure you do. Atlee Hammaker, who was having a Cy Young-caliber season, came in and surrendered 7 earned runs in two-thirds of an inning. Absolutely got crushed and a close game became an AL laugher. Arguably, he never recovered. His stats in the first half of the season: 9-4, 1.70. In the second half: 1-5, 3.38. That was his only All Star selection. He would play nine more years in the bigs, but pretty much was a mediocre pitcher... 36-47 record, 3.80 ERA, only 3.7 WAR total over the nine years. I think that outing killed his mojo.

No sleep lost over that, but I always hold my breath when a Dodger pitcher is on the AS mound.

Certainly I remember that. Fred Lynn lit him up. Hammaker was never the same.
