    Has anyone else. watched Ken Burns " The American Revolutionary War" ? Like, the best. Up there with all his great ones like Baseball and the Civil War.
    What struck me is how absolutely savage and brutally cruel it was, and how what we were taught ( me, anyway) in school about it was such a load of bullshit.
    Andthe people living and fighting it at the time definitely considermed it a civil war...with many brother against brother and father against son. It is in depth and the episodes are long and fascinating, but however you must do it, DON'T let this pass without watching.
    Eye opening and as grievously sad as it usually is for so many...of course the blacks and Native Americans particularly.

    I get it bro...but it's all a goddam jungle out there. Just the foliage and years change.
    This Burns series is really eye opening though.

    watched the series II Mostro on netflix
    one of the more twisted stories i've seen in a while
    based on the true story of serial killer(s)? in Italy during the late 60s and 70s

    Probably more actual stories like that than we know from back in those days...

    hopefully we've moved past all the woke joke shit and people just want to make movies again
    i mean i'm sure there may have been some cornholing going on in the woods as well but it doesn't need to be in every tale
    what i love about those old stories was how random folks and chance meetings turned into dedication in the toughest times
    not for weak constitutions
