I agree little brother. I'm not really angery myself about it, because like you said, he's an upgrade over Gwynn and Sands. The problem seems to be we were getting too many infielders and now we're getting too many outfielders. It seems like a complete waste of money to most of us when that money could have gotten us the Fat 1B free agent or other big stick we need. Even Carlos Beltran could probably be had instead of all these guys that will be fighting for playing time.
Not sure why Ned would go after Coco Puff. Already got Gwynn for the 4th OF'er role. Rivera is pretty much signed to be the starting LF'er - gotta go with the power here. And Sands is not even a question - he will start the season in AAA: He can't be a bench guy, but must play full time to develop his power stroke to be any value. I'm confident Sands will get it together and find his place on the Dodgers - it's a long season and shit happens.
roster wise we don't have much going on which considering what we have done might be a downer to some.
