The same reason that others would use when looking at Howie Kendrick's career .292/.345/.413 slash line with RISP and slot the man in the middle of the order for a team in need of a proven right-handed run producer. You talk shit about Mattingly, but even he has reason..where's yours?

As usual, you bend the issue to fit your needs. The ORIGINAL question was who should lead off, not who should protect AGon. I couldn't give a damn if Kershaw protects AGon, Kendrick is best suited for the leadoff spot among all the players on the roster. That's a fact. Who protects AGon is another question, and to me is secondary at best.

 

So what you're saying there is that you don't know why you said Uribe could protect AGon, that you can't successfully argue for that move because there's no rationality behind it, and that you don't understand the structure of this team. In essence, the same message throughout this entire ordeal..got it.

The bottom line is that for almost 270 million dollars, the dodgers lineup has holes in the top half, you guys aren't even bitching at each other about the back end and aren't even spending money on DH type player who is usually overpaid.
