Just catching up on the highlights, they really called Kershaw out at home in the seventh. What the fuck were they looking at?
A trip to COL might wake the bats up a bit And in other news, SFG trailing early, staring at a 5th straight loss, no Posey in the lineup
Silly, little series this was. Terrible crowd/shitty attendance, rebuilding team, can't be as easy to get up for ATL right now. It even effected me, I usually sit down and give a damn
The Dodgers, Cardinals and Giants are the only teams who consistently draw over 40 thousand fans. The Cubs and Red Sox do well in their little parks. I think empty seats are a big problem with baseball. 81 games is a lot and television drives the business more than tickets. Any new stadiums should build smaller. 30 thousand is plenty for markets like Oakland, Cleavland, Miami, etc. 42-46 thousand for SF, LA, ANA, NY. I like that baseball has enough games and seats to make games affordable. But these empty seats don't sell baseball as an exciting sport. Need more atmospheres like At&t, honestly.
I hope the Angels get a new stadium. Angel Stadium has obstructed views, it's tacky disney renovations, outdated amenities, etc. I'd like to see what they can come up with. The orginal Angel Stadium was cool from the pics I saw with the open outfield and big A scoreboard.
Giants have a good team. I want them to lose any game they can. Cuz they'll be tough. Get some separation.
i'll take it a step further hilarious they gave up anybody for him guy's been a huge disappointment 8.53 era/1.82 whip have fun zack
