Spoiler Damn...excellent scenarios. Now I've got a few I didn't think of beforehand...do you know if this is it for the series, or does it return? The milf did have some nice sweater meat...I don't think we'll be seeing her again, but I sure would like to. Just that the dude's m.o. is almost immediately established using her. The hooker is pretty fine, too. Beautiful face. The Pakistani lawyer got some pins, too doesn't she? The camera just stays on them all the time... I think Nas is forever changed, or out of his former shell permanently for the world to see. How he eventually beat the dude in the shower room was really savage. Now he's got prison ink, he's a mule (of sorts), and he actually looks like he's getting bigger. So Nas is not Nas we saw in episode one. I'm thinking maybe his mom took amphetamines from his room that she knows he uses. Anyway, looking forward to the next...absorbing story.
9.1/10 IMDb 95%Rotten Tomatoes You all have good taste, evidently. Never seen either of those two be so high for any show...I'll have to start watching.
Good one...but unfortunately, not 21st C. No carpets anymore. Seems to be out of style. Must be a full time job for gals like Demi Moore...
Yeah a couple boardwalk cast members in this Don Stone, the step father, is mickey doyle from boardwalk
Yes...dude with the funny laugh. Strange how different his character is in The Night Of. Also, Chalky was also Omar in the Wire. A bit of trivia. Before the Omar thread in the Wire saga....the actor had a bit role in the background as an extra playing a cop of all things.
Mickey Doyle was really Polish...remember? But took Doyle to run with the Irish gang with Nucky... Damn, I loved that Boardwalk. I think what Chalky did at tne end was one of the most heroic things I'd seen in movies/ TV ever...if that wasn't true love, nothin is..
I saw the Wire when it originally aired...called by many the best TV series ever. And a launching pad for many careers. On another note, The Night Of...is over after the six, I'm told. Done deal. It's taken from a British program, and the six episodes now, is a British thing ,too, unfortunately.
And yeah I'm all caught up with The Night Of. I think it's pretty good but I think of the ending is as predictable as they're setting it up to be it'll just be an alright show. It's no True Detective IMO.
Idk, VRP...if the Night Of is predictable after last night's episode, you should be a detective, bro. Twists like crazy...shit, even the cat is good. Excellent dialogue again, with slick acting by the forensic expert, Trudie Styler ( Sting's wife), the one with the rack, and everybody else, as usual. Absorbing.
Yeah great episode. I thought from episode 3-6 that they were setting it up to be the stepdad had her killed and that the person he paid was most likely Duane Reed. Now the verdict seems to almost be the side plot. If I had to guess the ending its that he gets found not guilty but something else happens that keeps him in jail, like he gets caught with the drugs or he kills someone. Also could see Omar doing something diabolical because he doesn't want Naz to leave and him to have no crew left. But yeah, this episode made things way murkier.
