Wow...Cub trolls in the house. Signs of nervousness for sure. Hey both teams wear blue....wouldnt be surprised if there are as many Dodger fans at Wrigley as there are Cubs fans. Deal with it. BTW, I have a hankering for mutton, goat and lamb....one of my favorite foods.
not confident at all with maeda going tomorrow hasn't looked good at all in his last few starts if we win, it'll be something like 12-10
The sort of take that almost makes one wish the Giants had taken the Cubs to a 5th game. These Cubbie fans just don't get how close they were to an elimination game against a team that had been the worst in MLB since July. Dodgers have basically been 12 or 13 games better than the Giants since that point. Buckle up, buddy, because LAD >>> Giants
Lester...is he any better than Max? I don't think so...maybe there is the post season thing going for him, and what hand he throws with, but, for me, if we did it against Scherzer, we can do it to Lester. If Maeda can right himself, and we can awaken some of our sleeping giants ( get the reference there?), we do this, too. Lester the molester...
Love the overconfidence Sal...perfect. Come in here beaming with your infallibity measure is exactly what we love to hear. No chance of you losing... Bush...and here's a news flash...the best team does not always win. What's that thing about "on paper"?
Welcome, Sal. This is a great place to post (less rules and nonsense of other sites) so if you know other Cubs posters who want to join, invite them over. The Dodger forum is the only one with consistent traffic right now, but there's a Cubs forum waiting for new blood.
Last Sal that came in here was named Tessio. He was last seen getting into a sedan with Willie Cicci.
Hope Kiké starting doesn't mean Joc isn't. Need his D. Hope it's in LF with Kendrick at 2B. Kendrick-Seager-Turner-Puig-Grandal-AGon-Kiké-Joc
I think Enrique would start for Utley at 2B. From what I've read this season, the Dodgers rate Enrique's defense at 2B better then Howies. Would be weird but I wonder if they go Ruiz at catcher and Enrique at 2B Howie, Seager, Turner, Puig, Ruiz, Adrian, Enrique, Joc
Wouldn't be that weird, I don't think. Ruiz seems to get the bat on the ball...Grandal, although at times has thunder, is an auto out almost so far. It's probably worth a shot at least one time...
Grandal is still working some walks and framing, and Ruiz has proved he can come off the bench comfortably But, Grandal might need a day off to reboot and this is a good chance
