idk i think its pretty tough to say they suck they are making progress and they don't give up anymore rough to continually lose the close games and what can be done about injuries and criminals on the team?
Yeah, I would not say they suck.....they are young and need to figure out how to closeout games. They have lost 9 games by 6pts or less. That would bring their record from 11-25 all the way up to 20-16.....which would be good for 5th place in the division, 1/2 a game in front of OKC.
But winning the close games matter. I understand they are young, Ball is injured etc. But this losing just insures the freaking Celtics or Philly again gets a good pick. I hope they improve to the point that the pick becomes a low 1st rounder. The question for me is Ball, Kuzma, Ingram, and either Nance, Randle or Clarkson (pretty sure they won't keep all 3) enough to bring a solid FA or 2 to lead this team. The prior regime royally screwed this team trading away picks for aging or useless "talent". Now it's like trying to win the FA lottery yet again, but with no high draft pick to soften the blow.
George pretty much reiterated his interest in LAL earlier today. Regardless, any free agent that looks at LAL's competitive core and feels like he can't help put them over the top in these close contests, don't want that pussy on the team anyway. Dwight Howards need not apply.
Not saying it doesn't. Yeah losing hurts but one or two FG makes from one any of Ingram/Kuzma/Hart/Randall/Clarkson/Bell and we are not talking about them having the worst record in the NBA. Agree 10000% That would be beautiful......hopefully they turn it around in the second half. IMO you add one of Bron/PG13/Boogie and this team is in contention for at least a #5 slot, maybe better. I would guess that Randall and Clarkson are gone......might even lose Bell if they find a way to get rid of Deng. Maybe if the Pelicans fall out of contention MGT offers up Clarkson/Randall for Boogie. Then send Deng/Hart/Zubac to Dallas for Matthews/McRoberts What??? Yes the previous regime traded away the 1st round picks from 2010-2013, but remember they were banking on Nash not getting hurt, Kobe not getting hurt, and Dwight not being a cry baby. Just imagine if Nash has actually been healthy.....just saying. As for current day, I am pretty sure MGT has their picks going forward. Yes the 2018 pick is gone, but MGT managed to keep it for 3 years. All future 1st rounders from 2019 and beyond are still in play.
Ball is a healthy scratch tonight so we'll get dominated by Russ even worse than he would have done with Ball here. Madhouse in Lithuania when the Ball's arrived, the man is getting what he wants and that sucks!
That might be a dig at my previous post. I meant to say Ball in the first part of the post and then when talking about "getting rid of Bell" I meant to say Hart.....but for some reason I could not edit my post????
Why does it suck? More power to him, his confidence is working wonders for him and his kids. Makes me want to step up my game.
True but they are getting treated like Kings. Did you see the complex that the Ball brothers will be staying at?
The world? lol, he isnt Hitler. He is a dad without fear teaching his kids to have no fear and to say FUCK THE WORLD in the best way possible. Remember when you were a teenager and people told you what you could not do? Lavar Ball is young at heart. He does what he feels in his heart. And when a wall is put in his face he cuts out a niche on that wall and the wall becomes an attraction. Haters are the actual egomaniacs. Or else it would not hurt their ego to see others succeed. As far as I know they are not hurting anyone. What is so wrong that they are treated like kings? Jealousy looks bad on a guy. It stems from a hurt ego.
Way to escalate the subject into the stratosphere with the Hitler example Rube geez. Point is he craves attention and giving him more and more only creates a monster FIGURATIVELY ONLY that will soon be out of control.
Thats what I do daughty. You know how you could have stopped Hitler? If more folks in Germany extrapolated his earlier words and deeds to their ultimate conclusion. Besides Hitler was used to contrast the stratosphere you guys are taking the Baller hate. A Child craves attention and if he get it he will show signs that are samples of his curse. If he doesnt get it its maybe worse. Those samples are what is deemed a monster. A true monster you only catch in moments when a person usually unwittingly reveals the hidden demon inside. That transfiguration that can be seen in oír face/character is what the term monster means. Frankenstein is the name of the doctor. He is the monster. Not the creature. Lavar does not strike me as someone at risk of being out of control. He seems the type to roll with punches and control the fight.
Personally, I wanted LAL to win these close games and to get the 8th seed so the core of youngsters could get some playoff experience under their belt. The sooner the better on that front. I don't have a lot of fucks to give in regards to how the Sixers and Celtics are benefiting from these losses. That's just too much fuckin worrying for me. TBT, impending impact free agents should only be concerned with how Zo/Ingram/Kuzma are progressing..can maybe add Hart and Nance to that group, but they could obviously be used as cheap sweeteners in trades between now and then. If I'm an impact free agent looking at LAL as a potential destination, that's all I'm concerned with because the rest of these guys on the team are going to be gone if Magic has his way. I mean the very second that they're able to, they're clearing the books of more than half the players on the team. Deng is not getting traded. That dream is dead.. http://nba.nbcsports.com/2017/12/24...n-trading-deng-wont-include-picks-young-star/ It's stretch and waive for Deng. That said, I'd like to stretch and waive my own eyeballs after watching last night's game.
really no point in worrying about that pick since we've defied the odds already the last couple of years the trade stuff couldn't have come at a worse time when the team looked like they were finding their identity to a degree this is where coaching is going to have to hold it together
