lol why? the guy has these kids reacting i think his lack of d is not the end of the world they will make up for what he lacks
Big win, drop Denver to 10th, KCP was in Murray's chest all night Now, the Warriors on the 2nd night of a back to back..fuck the schedule makers
His lack of D makes the team play better D. Like Larry Bird did for the celtics. IT is the leader that these kids needed. Paul George is great but not a leader. LeBron leads because its his job. And it might bother him that he is not a natural at it like IT.
I think Thomas is all about himself and I don't think the Lakers have the structure to make up for his lack of defense.
you could be right but he sure looks like he fits to me the huge ego thing is a little scary i agree but it looks like the guys really like him esp JR also looks to me to take pressure off Lonzo and let him do all those special things no one seems to notice
Every party needs a magnetic tank to pull aggro so the glass cannons, DoT and AoE specialists, buffers/healers, and most direct damage dealers can gain XP in relative safety.
Klay out - broken thumb Curry still out - ankle Draymond out - shoulder Iguodala questionable - wrist sprain McCaw out - wrist West out - right arm cyst Holy fuck. Lets win. Mosh to .500 continues.
In the future the NBA lottery will not reward tankers. And it will no longer weigh the 14 teams in descending order of wins. There will be 3 prizes. God, Silver, and Bronze. The worst team in the NBA automatically wins the Bronze prize which is the 3rd pick in the draft. They are not eligible to play for the gold as punishment for being worst. All the other 13 teams get the same number of ping pong balls in the hopper. Two envelopes are picked from the hopper to go on to see who wins the Gold and Silver medals. The envelope of the team with the better record wins the Gold medal and gets to pick 1st in the draft. The silver medal team picks 2nd. The other 11 teams are slotted in order of most wins. This system allows bad teams to get high draft picks but never the top pick. The best they can do is the #2 or #3 pick Gives non playoff teams who still try to win and be competitive a chance at the top pick and rewards them with better picks overall. The Lakers would have a shot at Ayton this year
I’m actually confident in the FO’s ability to spot value picks. I think the Cavs’ first rounder will turn out good for the Lakers. Fingers crossed there will also be value in the 2nd round.
As shorthanded as the Lakers are, it's still disgusting watching the Warrior JV team abuse them, especially in the paint on the offensive end. And the injuries (Kuzma, Hart and Ingram) have little to do with scrubs like Looney, Casspi, Zaza and McGee working them over.
Geezus! How do you lose to a team where like 90% of the starting lineup is not playing. How do you let Omar Caspri run all over you like that. Playing down to expectations. First time in...what 20 years...Lakers have been swept by GS.
It was the laker JV team too. I'll take Swaggy P, Omri Casspi and JaVale McGee over Travis Wear, Derrick Williams and Alex Caruso.
worse yet was watching swaggy go off at least they seemed a little bit pissed and were snapping at each other 2nd night of b2b and losing another key guy really sucks and those guys do practice against the likes of the world champs everyday not making excuses but thats still durant and livingston etc just a bummer w how well we are playing lonzo has to shoot better and he seemed a little overwhelmed for some reason
