    something to bring up about Manny, really for no reason other than maybe to look back upon if it comes up: this dude has been in the middle of like 4 different brawls lol. Hard to gauge how much justification he did or did not have, doesnt really matter at this point. Lots of it happened in 2014 when he was really young but just thought I'd bring it up.

    I feel like we should all be more stoked on this right now lol
    It's like trading for Harper. Yes, less flashy and a lower ceiling. But a higher floor certainly and having a huge year.
    I'll take this over Stanton any day.

    Rosenthal reporting "with more certainty: Machado to Dodgers happening...". Some other things need to be worked out, but looks like we could have a deal in the next 48 hours or so.

    Honestly, it's a bit weird because of how stretched out it's been. When it's a trade deadline day type of out of nowhere deal, we'd probably explode. It's all happened so slowly and with so much doubt, that it's tempered some excitement. But I'm pumped as hell. And I'm glad it's happening presumably weeks before the deadline to get him for this rough post-ASG stretch. It'll probably hit us a bit more once we get an official tweet and see him in the lineup

    Wasn't going to go back down memory lane or bash him for it, just really no more than to say SFG fans will love hating him because those other clubs in the east have. But whatever, I know the Red Sox are probably happy to see him leave the east. He had a thing with the A's that was pretty ridiculous. Easy to forget that he's still just 25. I don't know that he's lasting for 10 years because he has had some knee stuff, but 7 or 8 would do
