Ian Rapoport@RapSheet The #Raiders and G Richie Incognito agreed to terms on a 2-year extension worth $14M, source said. He gets $6.35M guaranteed. Some spending money for Vegas.
I don’t care who does it.....even the.....UGH.....Patriots if need be. I FREAKIN WON’T TOLERATE A 49ERs SUPERBOWL WIN. MAKE IT STOP!!!!
NE looks the worst they've looked in years. Brady has been average at the best this season, the WRs struggle getting open, the defense has gotten destroyed when they've faced elite competition, and the path to the SB is the hardest NE has faced during their run. Titans are red hot, They'd have to go to KC when KC won at NE earlier this season, and the Ravens smashed them earlier in the year and have been smashing everyone. Yet, I refuse to write those mother fuckers off. Logic goes out the window when it comes to the Patriots and their dark magic.
Not about to write them off either. Think it mainly has to do with the rest of the field in the AFC not being overly strong. Sure, KC beat the Pats @ NE weeks back, but we all saw that game. KC had a shit load of ref help and they still barely walked out of there with the win. And the Dolphins beating the Pats last week @ NE doesn't really do anything to strengthen KC's win @ NE either. Have zero confidence in Andy Reid and Vrabel. Pinning my hopes on Harbaugh. A lot of people expecting the Titans to run the ball down the Pats' throat, but the Titans have had their own troubles stopping the run and the Pats' running game has come alive at the end of yet another regular season. They had 175 yards on the ground against the Bills, so it wouldn't shock me a bit if the Pats run the ball efficiently in the playoffs. No Gronk is huge, but at the same time, they did win the SB without Gronk a few years ago
Jeudy went a little too wild in that game yesterday. Don't know if he slides out of the Top 10 after that
Never underestimate the Pats. They’ve probably bugged the entire FO and practice facilities in the league and will put that to good use when need be. That being said, the Pats don’t look the same without Gronk. They have just run out of weapons that will keep other teams honest. Could not believe how many times the Pats would score or get great yardage even thought you knew the ball would either go to Gronk or Amendola....pick your second option WR. It always worked. Now, it’s not that simple anymore for the Pats.
I like a lot of WRs in this class. Should be able to get a difference maker at 12 like Tee Higgins if Jeudy/Lamb are selected.
Remember the last Super Bowl. It's not like the Pats lit it up offensively against the Rams either. Belicheat and his ability to manage a game, time of possession and field position. All the plays they've made on special teams this season. The running game being revamped. They won't fool me. They're still a threat
Time of possession is where I think NE will beat the Titans. I think the Titans are a little too flawed defensively to pull the upset. At least NE has to play an extra game for once...can't remember the last time those mofos didn't get a bye. We could have the 13-3 Saints at the 13-3 Packers, AFC title game rematch with KC-NE, Seahawks-49ers where the division was decided by inches, and Deshaun vs Lamar next week. A chance for an epic divisional round but I doubt this weekend is chalk. Someone is getting upset.
Can see the Texans being upset @ home given that their head coach is trash. Same team that was down 31-3 @ halftime a few weeks back when they faced Denver Jason Garrett is out. Can't wait to see who's signing up to be Jerry's boy
Matt Miller of Bleacher Report provides a solid balance of being plugged-in with league sources and teams, while being a scout himself. Miller penned his (mostly) post-Bowl game Scouting Notebook for the world to see on Friday. Here’s what he had to say about the Raiders’ potential first round haul.
Houston in all kinds of trouble against the Bills. They can't let the Bills score on this drive before halftime
