Easy Padre series shutout. Dodgers go into BB history with the longest scoreless streak offensively. With Orel's record, they have both covered now. Cashner with an almost perfect game.
Error by Kemp will ruin the perfecto, BTW. Many will say, "see I told you he sucked", totally losing the more important aspect to the loss.

not only do we get shutout this series their starters all throw complete games and their offense sets all sorts of records for a three game series we become the team other teams look forward to playing to get well against we go into a 0-25 slump and just when it looks like mattingly is toast, rollins goes down with a yeast infection prompting a seager call-up seager goes on a puig-esque rookie tear, fueling the dodgers to a 65-2 streak and into the postseason as everyone's favorites we then get promptly swept in the lds by the cardinals... again the giants go on to win the world series in an odd year, and go on a run where they win 15 straight world series the front office backs mattingly's ineptness and gives him a 5-year extension we on dsp whine, cry and bitch... but nothing changes nothing ever changes bochy > mattingly, giants > dodgers wash, rinse, repeat... and repeat, and repeat, and repeat...
Kendrick has been worse with his denver esque home\road splits. Joc is still learning, can't fault him for the team depending consistently on a rookie so early in the season.
It blows when you know the ending doesn't it? We don't even have the mystery to look forward to any more. Like a faded denim shirt...(staying with your washing clothes theme)
True, verily. Which only serves to prove the idiocy of where he is in the lineup. Sure he'll see more pitches there, but when he whiffs at his record breaking pace he's on, will that do him any good ? Joc doesn't make adjustments...he takes the same wicked swing if he feels the ball is in/near his wheelhouse. That's good-that's bad, depending on what they want from him down the road. But that's not a good path for a leadoff hitter, I don't think... that's bad. I guess it's his already developed veteran's eye. Pretty outstanding. But, unfortunately, it's almost a curse on the kid with DBB making out the lineup each night.

I need advice and if there is anyone's opinion I trust and appreciate it is the folks in the board during game time. During the second inning I'll describe my situation where a difficult choice has to be made. Stay tuned.
