Fuck the Celtics. They went to the slow motion reel of LeBron's fadeway over Brown and I could hear the music
The longest flight in Los Angeles Lakers history: When the team learned of Kobe Bryant's death https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/28752359/the-longest-flight-los-angeles-lakers-history-team-learned-kobe-bryant-death
everything this city touches goes to shit not expecting much from this probably a bloated affair fuck it i'll watch the highlights its already tedious
Vanessa able to get up there and speak to thousands..millons..evil took the biggest L today. Ass whipped like Wilder.
Nice messages sent to Memphis/NO. Don't want to see the Pelicans in round 1 but the Lakers will handle them if that happens. Just feel NO could be a longer series than Memphis.
Seeing him clank a couple of open 3s late in the game reminded me of the many painful games he had as a Laker. Not missed at all.
Silver Screen & Roll@LakersSBN The Lakers are reportedly going to have a second meeting with Dion Waiters next week. 2nd meeting? One's not enough for a player they're very familiar with? Feels like they're trying to put some positive press out there and do Waiters a favor since he is a Pelinka/Paul guy, but again - have seen Waiters cook the best of the best, so wouldn't mind them waiving Daniels for him. If his head is right, could easily see Waiters cooking Beverley in a big playoff game and potentially being a difference maker here and there. But how will he defend? And will he disrupt chemistry? Fine line
The Jazz are the lovable "contender" every preseason and they fall flat on their faces. When will people learn?
I feel like the cons outweigh the pros with Waiters. If he couldn't buy in and behave under Spo, I don't see things changing for him. Miami has one of the better cultures in the league. An easy improvement for the Lakers going forward is giving Caruso more minutes.
Miami's culture actually isn't all that great. Fairly strict and guys in the league complain about all the BS that Riles puts them through in terms of having them followed and watched around the city, guys having to weigh in constantly, conditioning tests every Monday, etc. And for all the talk of their defensive identity, seems like a guy drops 50 on them every month. And Spo is cool, but let's be real - majority of the public aren't holding Spo in high regard if he never coaches LeBron and wins titles with LeBron. Adding Waiters is a fine line because of the chemistry that's been built, but Miami isn't a fit for a lot of guys in the league. That said, he fucked that up and has to own that one. If there's genuine interest in Waiters joining, it'd probably have something to with LeBron just being able to make all kinds of shit work and them being willing to take that gamble. They may feel like the culture is strong enough right now to handle it, good or bad
