agree but not to the point of spiraling definitely to the point they need to perform in this home stand or who knows whats next that was my biggest fear cause we all know no one knows when it comes and where it goes i still think we're that good and this is a rut thats fixable
Team had a winning chemistry. Young, vibrant and fearless. Insert the Grandersons, Gonzo's and Ethier's of this world and this is what you get. A flat lifeless team, just as flat and lifeless as these guys careers. Add a pinch of Rob Segedin, a teaspoon of Logan Forsythe, and another hopeless Japanese pitcher and this is what you get. Lifeless.
This is not pleasant baseball to watch, but I'm in the 'shit happens' camp, not the chicken little camp. This is the fluke. Not the season's record.
More like you thought she was a hot chick and then she got diarrhea, the flu, her father died, and she got her period all the same week and you became an asshole because she wasnt dressed and made up like you like and she didnt cook you the food you like and she smelled like snot and shit and you cant even fuck her but you have to put up with her issues and you did not sign up for any of that stuff, you just wanted to bang her when she was looking and feeling good. But that would make you an asshole boyfriend.
Im with you, and you got the purest dodgers name here so that must be a sign. Shit happens, you wipe and move on. Of course sometimes you get diarrhea and so you gotta wipe a few more times. Dodgers ate some bad fish somewhere last road trip.
These young guys must horribly suck at this chemistry thing since the few at bats these new old guy have gotten these past 2 weeks are miniscule. How bout we go with the facts that our two best starters this year went down with injury roughly at the same time. And that roughly at that same time our three best hitters also go down to injury. So these past few weeks we have had to fill in with new scrubs and old scrubs.
Would you rather he made them in the playoffs? Gotta see what you have, normally managers dont have a lot of opportunities for that in the season.
Turner is heating up. Bellinger is back and hitting homers. Kerrshaw is back and dominating. Puig still hitting the ball hard. Old guys got their try outs and now they, the GM's, managers, and the fans all know where they stand and what the situation is. 1B is now securely Bellingers. Wood is back from his injury showing great stuff this game, it is natural that his command is off a little after not playing for a while. All we waiting for is Seager to come back from injury which is not a big deal, the bigger deal is Yu getting on track. But Yu was an extra and to get back where we were we dont need Yu, we need Yu to become something even more. Team is on an upswing. Squint to see it though, you know why asians have squinty eyes? Because they paying attention, and thats the only way to see whats up.
if losing 8/9 -- including 3/4 to the shit padres -- is an upswing then i'm really worried about when we go into a slide
As much as I can't stand the veterans being inserted into the lineup when they have no business playing anymore, it has been some pretty atrocious starting pitching that has done us in. Over the last nine games, which includes Kershaw's 6 innings of shutout ball, the starting staff's era is 7.74, with an average start lasting 4.1 innings. Take out Kershaw's start and it is 9.23 era and an average start of 3.9 innings. No way you are going to win with that
Not only does he have command problems, he is pitching with less velocity than ever. If the Padres bang him around and take him deep multiple times, what does a lineup like AZ do?
Squint harder roundeye! If it continues for another two weeks now that our guys are getting healthy then thats a slide right now the dodgers are getting ready for a new run
