But if he is its because he will undoubtedly come through finally and it will be when we most need it and when we least think he could possibly come through. Why, because thats the way the story is written.
Yep, and if the Astros should advance, hope that Keuchel pitches in relief in Game 7. I don't particularly like how they matchup with either team, as each team only offers one LH Starter, could mean more Granderson/Utley/Grandal/Ethier (some combination) than most of us would like.
And Charlie needs to be on the roster. I feel one of my long ass roster posts coming on. I guess NZ and all you other guys gonna have to scroll some more tonight!
Doc says that he expects Corey back for the World Series. I am glad because I want all hands on deck even though I appreciate what Charlie did. Tuesday cannot come soon enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What we all witnessed this evening is what we saw from this team for most of the season. I thought the 6,7,and 8 hitters in this game might be the weakness in tonight's lineup. They didn't wait to long to tell me to shut the f^*k up. These guys got a chance to prove they belong at this level, they can contribute, and be "dramatic" about it. I also have to admit that tears were shed, more than once tonight. DAMN, I love this team! Beautimus Dodger Blue Baby!!! Not to mention they did whoop that ass as well.......on the road to win the NL title. On we roll.....
In enemy territory tonight (Sac) visiting the oldest daughter. Watched the game at her place as opposed to watching the game at a local pub with Giant fans rooting against our boys or Raider fans. Turned out to be a pleasant evening. This group embodies the word "team." Here's hoping they finish the task at hand.
