Crazy what he's accomplishing. I keep thinking that pitchers will figure out how to pitch him at some point, but one good thing is that he can hit the pitch on the inside part of the plate. Seems really disciplined too.

he's not disciplined at all lol. He still has 0 career walks, but he has an insane ability to but the bat on the ball

Thought it was kind of odd that Michael Harris didn't lay out for that ball....no complaints here though

that is a good point. the ball practically landed at his feet and he kind of let up too. weird. Maybe he bet on the dodgers?

His plate discipline has be pretty good for a young slugger so far. However it went to shit in the last AB last night.

Getting through the top of the Braves' order with the ghost runner on second is quite the accomplishment. Doesn't seem to be any in between with Grove. Either really good or really bad. Hope to see more of the good. A multi-inning arm out of the pen is going to be valuable with pitchers coming off the IL.

Six innings, one run against the best lineup in the game. Well done Stone. Especially liked how he recovered from the dropped foul popup. Never flinched and retired Riley who had lit him up in the first inning.

Be curious to see whether they go with six starters when Buehler returns or move someone (preferably Paxton) to the pen. Stone has earned a spot in the rotation.

Dare I say a clutch hit from No-Sho?

Just based on his reaction after he fielded the ball, it almost seemed to me that he forgot that Smith was on third and he felt that the lower risk play would be to field it on one bounce and keep Smith to one base. I can't figure out any other explanation because that ball was definitely catchable. But who knows?

If he makes a diving catch it's likely Smith scores tagging up from third. Still doesn't explain Harris' effort on the play.

I considered that too, but was Smith even tagging? If so I would've expected at least a throw home since it was in short center and fielded cleanly on one bounce. If Smith was tagging he wouldn't have had much of a jump before the ball fell in.

Even more bizzare, Smith was halfway down the line when the ball dropped. I’ve seen Harris make so many spectacular plays in the outfield….thankful he took that play off

that ball was hit so shallow that I don't Smith could've tagged even if he dives.

Tyler Glasnow is awesome. Our outlook would be pretty bleak without him.

Our starting pitchers over the past couple weeks have held their own. If Glasnow, Yoshi, and Stone can keep it up, we're in good shape. I'd add Knack but something tells me he's going down on Monday when Buehler comes up. Hopefully Miller will be back soon too. Of course Paxton worries me, especially against Fried.

love what we're getting from the SP so far yet if this offense really starts to click there's all sorts of room for error

Saturday night fireworks at the Ravine, but the AB I found most encouraging was Lux driving the ball to the wall in left center. He's been hitting better of late, but they've mostly been ground balls through the infield. Nice to see him drive the ball like he did when he was going good.

Now let's get Outman fixed again.

It was encouraging to see Roberts let Outman and Lux stay in and hit against a lefty reliever last night. The night before he subbed in Kike and Rojas and they went 0-4 with a GIDP and 4 LOB. I hope that he continues to trust his starters which should only increase their confidence.
