How does the supposed last place finish of the Rockies next season do one positive iota of shit for us...reads like schoolyard reasoning...does that probability at all change the fact that we have the highest payroll in bb history and won't even win as many games as we did last year...even though we got rid of all the "albatrosses"? If we fail again, it'll be OK because CO finishes in last place? Uh-huh...OK. I guess it must be because we will be "better in the playoffs" now, should we manage a W against the scumbags. We'll see...
True BZ, the schoolyard reasoning is for shit and really since nothing matters but a) making the playoffs and b) winning in the playoffs, well at least we're going to the dance. Who gives a shit who isn't? And better the vaGiants won't be there to use their fay pride luck to somehow win it all from the wildcard spot yet again. Can we get past the Cards? Or the Pirates? or the Cubs? I'm not wagering my own hard earned cash on that but at least we're going to the dance.
