Welcome to the DSP Lounge... don't mind the blue Dodger froth on your way in... take a seat anywhere you'd like... on the blue couch... or perhaps the blue bar stools... perhaps you'd prefer one of the blue recliners? Fordie falls asleep there all the time, he's been around the game a while you know. You're welcome to sit in the blue loveseat but you'll have to fend Irish off during rally's... he really can't control himself at his age.

So you're with the Cardinal's? And you guys all like wearing red like the Red's. Original. Well work it out with Irish if you think you're gonna clash with his October 'save the pink titty' ensemble. The Cardinals were that outfit that cheated and drugged everybody up on 'roids a few years back and won a ring or two? Yeah, thanks for the assist, we're enjoying having your roiding hitting coach now join as our roiding hitting coach, and along with our roiding pitching coach to teach our youngsters how to roid properly and not get afoul of Bud 'bed wetter' Selig.

    Welcome anyways...

Don't worry, I will be bringing my own seat..... Love seat with all the WS years stitched on it. Just haven't figured if it should bring the Cardinal dark blue or the cardinal red, Nevermind red is for victory.... Yes there were players that played for the Cards that were on roids but so were a lot of other teams... Going to be a great series and once again thanks for the invite..

Feel free to leave that "Lounge" talk to me CapnTree. With that being said this Cards fan seems like an alright guy, same goes for almost every Cards fan.
I'll pour you both a drink right now and during every one of these playoff games I am not at.

Cards fan: What do you drink? Been to your stadium twice and your city about four times. Great place, cool people and terrific fans.
Love the tour at your Anheuser Busch facility, breakfast at blueberry hill and playing cards at the casino adjacent to the four seasons. Carl's burgers and Root beer are fantastic too.

    let's have a great series!

    GO DODGERS!

No way. You treat that game 6 like a game 7. Plus why wouldn't you just have Kershaw pitch game 6 and close out the series then plus give him an extra day rest when heading to Boston or wherever

    Good man. I LOVE Budweiser.

I think this whole craft beer thing is a fad that will come and go. I drank Budweiser at your St. Louis facility that was less than two hours old in a 32° facility and it was fantastic. I like a wide range of beers from Sierra Nevada to Dos Equis amber, and my beloved Budweiser but some of these coffee and fruit flavored craft beers are so lame. I was in a bar recently and there were tatted up wussy white middle class guys with fancy beards and tight pants drinking beer with orange slices in it..

    Apricot ales..............gross!!!!!

Hurts to say, but yes, this Cards fan is a fine gentleman.

That wont stop me from some heated rants against him, but is not against HIM but against what he represents.

Oh, and Boo, please get me a JW Black on the rocks. This will be a fun series.

ST. LOUIS -- Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier could play center field in Game 1 of the NL Championship Series on Friday, manager Don Mattingly said Thursday.
The club will wait to see how Ethier's injured left ankle responds Friday to a strenuous workout he had Thursday at Busch Stadium.

Ethier said he still had "lingering pain" in the ankle but was "able to keep pushing it" on Thursday to the point where he was able to run the bases, slide, track down fly balls in the outfield, stop and plant, "and it wasn't getting worse."

So Ethier said he thinks he's reached the stage where he can play in the field in the NLCS " maybe the whole game or even a double-switch role."

However, because he hasn't played a game in the field for four weeks, he sounded resigned to a limited role initially, in the hope of building up to starting later in the series.

"Whatever role they need, I want to figure out how I can contribute more," Ethier said. "Pinch-hitting is obviously a big role, and you can make a big impact, coming off the bench and getting a big hit. But I feel like I can do well on defense, too, playing center field. I felt like I did that well all year. And that's probably the most frustrating part.

"I feel like I'm really close to playing that. It's just, is it the time to test it in [the] playoffs? Center field is a lot different spot, of the three outfield spots, to give up a little defense. So it's one where I've felt comfortable, and I want to feel comfortable, and I'm sure Donnie and the staff want to feel the same way going forward. And rightfully so. All these games, all these pitches, everything is so important. And sometimes in these games, little mistakes can cost you and you can lose the series. So we want to make sure we have everything going the right way."

Nevertheless, the team has ramped up his activities significantly the last two days, and Ethier said Thursday was the most he'd pushed himself to test the ankle "by far."

"We're pushing it as hard as we can," he said. "And that was definitely the case today. Yesterday, it was an important day, just to go out there and run around and do what we did. But today was more important, to see if I could take the next step of sliding into second base, and taking a hard turn from second to see if I could score. And doing three or four simulated innings of defense, take a break, defense, stuff like that. So we pushed it as far as we can today. And tomorrow will be the same thing."

Mattingly said the team would wait until after Ethier's pregame work Friday to make a decision on whether he will play. But the makeup of the Dodgers' NLCS roster also depends on how ready Ethier is, and the club has to submit it by Friday morning.

Enjoy this drink. Personally, me gusta mi alcohol blanca y mi mujeres negra but with that being said. This is a fine drink.
Indulge in this magnificent scotch. Sip and enjoy. It is truly a masters blend with an aroma of honey balanced with a grain flavor.

    You have good taste sir.
