Lets see what kind of backlash comes from this? http://tracking.si.com/2013/09/26/d...after-giants-game-mlb/?sct=hp_t2_a4&eref=sihp
Yahoo headlines with yet another story about Selig retiring... come on and leave already... but they do have the link in the upper right corner And SI has it in small font in the upper corner while the headline story remains "Exit Sandman" about Rivera retiring... easy coast bias never fails And after reading four stories I haven't seen anything about battery chucking... got a link?
I feel like this wont even get close to the same coverage because the guy isn't suffering anymore and all that crap the Giants media conjured up. Haven't seen it on ESPN or MLBN. I saw the Stow coverage all over ESPN. Soooo...
If it wasn't cholo Raider/Dodger type fans harming a white paramedic, nobody gives a fuck I guess. I hate to play that card really but WTF?
Giants fans can officially get off their high fucking horse. Their luck has run out, no playoffs and the ranks of their fandom includes murderous pieces of shit too. Time to stop with all this bullshit about Dodgers fans being violent and bad people and just accept their place in history as the lesser team of the rivalry. Times like this make me miss the ESPN boards a little. Can't talk shit to Giants fans about being #1 and putting them back in their place and can't see what they have to say about this episode either. I guess they wanted to make sure we didn't forget that the Giants are out number one rival and not the Diamondbacks. Now I want to clinch next season in SF and have the whole team line up on the right field stands and openly piss in their bay.
This a damn shame..thoughts and prayers for his family..Now let this spark our Dodgers and win the ship for this kid!!...and us too of coarse..Go blue.
I think its safe to say that EVERY TEAM has pieces of shit as fans that dont care about stabbing another person or beating the shit out of someone... this is more a "wtf is happening to society" than a Dodgers/Giants/any sports team thing...

^This. And contrary to the title of this thread, neither attack is better or worse, and I can't even relate to one being "our" guy and the other being "their" guy. This shit shouldn't happen, period. One guy completely lost his life, the other lost his life as he knew it... you think either give a rat's ass about baseball right now? I feel for both of them equally.
I feel like this isn't a situation to act like they "one-upped" the DS attacks, but instead to try and prevent them from happening against any fan base.
